24.01.2022 It was very exciting to be at the launch of the Meenyian Farmers Market yesterday. The weather was perfect and the feeling of community was very much in evidence. 21.01.2022 Healthy Tips for Your Skin: For this weeks tip we have chosen a Facial mask with ingredients you can find in your cupboard or fridge. Facial Masks are used to cleanse the skin, absorb excess oil, remove dead skin cells, stimulate circulation in the skin and stimulate healthy cell regeneration. Masks also nourish, moisturize, hydrate and soothe your skin.... Avocado Moisturising Mask- This mask is great as a moisturizer and skin-softening for dry and mature skin. 1/2 Ripe Avocado, 1/2 tsp Avocado oil and 2 tbsp. thickened cream Mix all ingredients together into a smooth paste and apply to damp face. Oat Mask - This mask soothes irritated and inflamed skin. Mix rolled oats into a paste with some yoghurt and smooth over your face. Leave for 15-20min then remove gently with a warm, wet face cloth.
