16.01.2022 I grew up in the country. There are many similarities with towns like Bororen, Miriam Vale and Gladstone nearby. The last 3 weeks has really tested my patience with internet and mobile issues!! I don't think I have ever spent so much time talking to someone I don't like very much - Telstra!! Coming from Bargara, I thought we had issues with our internet and mobiles. I admire all of the locals who take the situation in their stride. My question to all of you ...... should we take the issues with mobiles and internet coverage in our stride or should we get together and make some noise??? Let me know what you think!!

12.01.2022 Hello to all of our Facebook friends. Mick and I took over the lease on Monday and are looking forward to meeting you all, whether you are local or travellers. We enjoy meeting people and love looking after our guests. Some room prices have been reduced and we have started improving the rooms. The licenced restaurant is open from 5.30pm every day. Call in and say hello as we are new to the area. Toni (An old photo but the best I can do!!)

08.01.2022 Casual cleaners wanted: I need 1 maybe 2 cleaners to join our cleaning team to clean motel rooms. Experience would be great or willing to learn. Some of you have told us amazing stories which have enriched our lives. We have loved being a small part of your lives and able to share our little piece of paradise. 01.01.2022 I just love the location of the motel. Every day the mountains at the back of us are covered with cloud. Such a pretty outlook. A pity I haven't had much time to enjoy it!! Yet!!
