23.01.2022 16 and counting! Yes I’ve sewn 16 of a bag I vowed never to make again back at number 2 lol. I didn’t even have one of these for myself, until today. I missed a piece of fabric in the pocket so I decided that instead of unpicking a heap of stitching that one was now mine. Luckily it is a fabric I love. I now have more to cut out before I can continue sewing.

21.01.2022 While awaiting a fabric delivery for my H20 2Go bag liners I have taken a break from sewing for the day and working on a special project for a RAOK on a group I am in. I have been building up my Inktense colours and am now about halfway. Now to start colouring the block. These colours become permanent once completed.

18.01.2022 Finished my bag, now making a matching wallet. First time installing a flip lock. Made use of the shoulder strap I made with wrong hardware (silver) for the bag (rainbow hardware). The outer shell of wallet is done, now to construct all the inner card slots and pockets.

17.01.2022 Latest sews. More H20 2Go Slings that are part of an order. Also a small Mayla Bucket bag.

16.01.2022 Currently on the production line... 2 more Frida H20 2Go Slings. These make numbers 17 and 18 of this style bag.

15.01.2022 I finally was in the right frame of mind today to do battle with the old girl. Bessie (my industrial machine) has been misbehaving a bit lately shredding threads not sewing right and just generally not being nice, but today I retensioned her (both upper and bobbin) and eventually replaced the needle. She has sewn like a charm since then, another H20 2Go Sling for the shop order and a Nasyou Pouch. I have been wanting a pouch for all my wonder clips and the Nasyou was a nice easy sew.

12.01.2022 Had a productive few days sewing. 2 H20 2Go bags for a shop order, then while I waiting of fabric delivery I cut out and made my Bag of the Month for March, Tumbleweed by Blue Calla bags, and 2 Acacia Crossbody bags for 2 granddaughters, one with white top stitching and other with purple, also different zipper pulls to help tell them apart. Tumbleweed makes a very useful portable project carrier for my English paper piecing quilt, was also my first time sewing with cork.

11.01.2022 Finally finished my wallet. 20 card slots, 3 zip pockets, 2 slip pockets, so lots of hiding places Even ran out of fabric to match my bag so had to add in a bit of blue as well.

11.01.2022 Finished sewing what I had cut out. Now have 6 more cut out to sew to finish up my order.

10.01.2022 Something a little more time consuming for one of the grandsons. This took 3 days of sewing to construct.

08.01.2022 Currently under the needle. Have held onto this fabric for a couple of years (or maybe more) for something special. Also going to make a matching wallet.

07.01.2022 For a pattern that I vowed and declared I was never making again after I made the first 3 I seem to see a lot of these bags being made. There’s 2 others I don’t have photos of besides these and more in the production line being cut out and made. This bag was also the one that prompted the purchase of an industrial machine as the bases are so fiddly to sew on the domestic machine.

05.01.2022 Purse Pal, has zip pocket for coins, slip pocket for notes and 6 card slots. This one is sold but I can make others in different colors.
