20.01.2022 Kooringal will be selling 21 yearlings via the Inglis Digital Sale in December (11th-16th). Colts and fillies by proven sires Duporth, Magic Albert and Epaulette as well as the exciting young stallions Impending, Super One and The Brothers War are included in the line-up. "The horses are all well grown, nice yearlings who have all passed a scope and haven’t had any issues.... Kooringal have developed a reputation for producing tough, sound racehorses for many years and I’m sure this crop will be no different. 20.01.2022 Sweet success was shrouded with sentiment when Banger (Shrapnel) was a popular winner at @atc_races last month. The five-year-old’s victory in the $75,000 Highway Handicap (1500m) held special significance for Kooringal Stud’s Angus Lamont, who races Banger with a large syndicate of owners and Kooringal supporters. Banger carried the red, white and black colours which originally belonged to Angus’ grandfather Bruce Chisholm.... There was extra meaning with the win on January 16 coming the same week as the seventh anniversary of Bruce’s passing. Bruce was extremely well known in the thoroughbred breeding industry and stood successful stallion Comet at Khancoban. #kooringal #racing #banger #rosehill

14.01.2022 It is with sadness that we announce that Kooringal resident stallion Magic Albert passed away today at the age of 21. The son of Zeditave stood 17 seasons at Stud and will be remembered as a prolific sire of winners. Magic Albert has sired over 600 winners and in excess of $49 million in prize money.
