24.01.2022 Planning a vacation with your pet this holiday season? We thought a pet checklist would be helpful in the chaos of preparing a trip. Check if their vaccination are up-to-date. Check if they are microchipped and if their microchip details are current and correct. Make an appointment for their Health Check so you know they are in good health and get all their preventative care organised. If your pet has travel sickness, you can ask your vet for medication that they might need t...o keep them calm and happy while you all are on the road. Check on your pet's food stock and make sure you have plenty of their medications. Keep a Pet First aid kit handy with you. These are available by special order from us; ask our team for any help preparing for your holiday. It has been a very stressful year, it is now the time to relax and enjoy the company of the people we love.
23.01.2022 With this severe weather, we request all fur families to be very careful. Make sure all your pets are warm, cozy and secure inside. If anyone finds a missing pet, we request everyone to please bring the pet to the clinic and we will do a quick microchip scan to help the families reunite. Take Care Everyone

23.01.2022 Happy World Veterinary Day! Today we recognise the compassion, dedication and strength of veterinarians around the world. Veterinarians perform lifesaving work on a daily basis, keeping our pets healthy and attending to them when they're ill. They work with the community to treat abandoned and stray animals, and help our native wildlife when they're in need of care. They treat our animals as though they were their own, and are essential in keeping our pets happy and healthy. Today, we thank our Kooringal team for the amazing work they do for every animal that enters our clinic. Thank you all! #WorldVeterinaryDay #worldvetday

17.01.2022 Just a reminder. Tomorrow it is predicted to reach 40C. Please remember to keep your pets hydrated & inside the house to avoid heat stress. Over the summer months it is important to ensure there is adequate shade & shelter in your yard. It is also & good idea to put out extra water bowls & change them through the day as the water becomes hot. Heat stress can be very serious for our pets, so it is important that we do everything we can to keep them safe & comfortable. . .... . . . . . . . . #summerforpets #heatstrokeinpets #summercare #summer #hotweather #petcare #paws #pawcare #waggasummer #waggacommunity #waggapets #waggawagga

10.01.2022 Meet our new batch of some fun puppies Our little furry friends and their families had their first class yesterday and are building a great new relationship. Did you know, There are many benefits to teaching your puppy to be well behaved at an early age. Young puppies are quite able to learn obedience skills, toileting, behaviour and social boundaries. All of these things help make your relationship with your dog more rewarding for the years to come. If you are having a new set of paws added to your family and need help with them, feel free to talk to us about them on 6922 5375.

08.01.2022 Important Reminder It wouldn’t be Christmas without so many of these things at home but just remember to always keep out of reach of pets who like to eat things they really shouldn’t! Let’s have a wonderful safe Christmas with our furr babies ... If your pet gets into these things by mistake, it's an emergency, seek veterinary help immediately.
08.01.2022 As you are well aware, this year has been a very difficult year for most people, with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affecting every aspect of our day to day lives. However, over the past few months, Australia has done very well in reducing our active COVID-19 case numbers. This has led to restrictions easing within the country, and will mean that many people will be able to spend Christmas with their loved ones and have a somewhat normal festive season. Christmas is a... wonderful time for any community and we want to help boost the Christmas spirit here in Wagga! To do this, we are planning a "12 Days of Christmas" campaign. This campaign will involve a lucky dip of 12 gifts being raffled off to 12 lucky pets over the span of 12 days starting 9th Dec 2020. Our local and national businesses have decided to participate in this campaign with us and we want to thank them for their strong support along with the Wagga community. It is only because of the people like you and your pets, we have been able to do the best we can during these difficult times. Thank you to the people of Wagga for being such a great community. Thank you @suzspetservices @royalcaninanz @thelittlepeasant @kooringalvet @griffith.vet.hospital for your support in taking care of our pet community. And, last but not the least, thank you to all the vets, vet nurses and everyone involved in the pet care service. #christmasgiveaway #christmasgifts #christmaspets #santapaws #waggachristmas #waggawagga #petsofwagga #waggapetsitting #waggapets #christmas #peopleofwagga #waggacommunity
