22.01.2022 Good Evening Koorlong P.S community our pie order drive has been extended out till next Wednesday the 23rd with delivery being the following Thursday the 30th July, so keep those orders going see if we can beat last terms amazing efforts!!!! Tomorrow morning an order form and payment option will be posted for anyone interested in grabbing a few pies that no longer attend Koorlong P.S

18.01.2022 Mrs Pain's class have been reading the Magic Faraway Tree as their class book since we returned from home learning. The kids have been really excited, especially after their classroom has changed into the books themes.

16.01.2022 Awesome effort to you all. I would suggest downloading all the books while you can at your child’s level. We had trouble today recording with lots of students. I will check in again tomorrow. Not sure why it is not recording. I can’t believe how many books the kids have read. Some will be guided levels which I set daily but some you can just read in your library. Enjoy. Happy reading from Mrs Pain

16.01.2022 School Halloween Disco Friday the 30th of October will be the proposed date of our School Halloween disco this year from 6.30-8.30pm. We will need to take a few extra precautions this year, but we will do all we can to still have our disco and bring back some fun and enjoyment into school, after the rough year we have had so far. 08.01.2022 Week 1 of learning from home. ONLINE LEARNING Well done to parents, students and teachers on a much smoother transition into learning at home second time around. Teachers are using the Webex home video calls to connect with students at home. Please remember the following protocols.... 1. When your child has headphones on listening and speaking to their teacher, all background noise and conversations can still be heard on the other end. So kids need a quite space. 2. Have the kids dressed and fed and out of their PJ’s. 3. Log on and be ready a few minutes before the scheduled meeting time so if you have any technology issues you have time to sort them out. We are all learning and trying to make the learning at home experience a relaxed and valuable addition to your child’s education. If you are having trouble logging on, email your class teacher so we can help to resolve any issue. Keep up the good work. Stuart

07.01.2022 Dear Parents and Carers I have been requested to forward information about an online site called Omegle.com by Mildura Police. Omegle.com is an online social platform described below. The links are from the eSafety Commissioner and the second link is a YouTube warning.... The police have recently become aware of a online site called Omegle.com which allows users to have share chats/messages/videos with random strangers anywhere in the world. Although it states users must by 18+, we are aware of an incident involving a 13yo girl. There is significant potential for this site to be exploited by predators, and we are sufficiently concerned that we think it prudent to advise all schools, parents, carers, and guardians. I attach two links below.
