25.01.2022 Special shout out to our U13s who played up into the U14A comp this season. Great effort and we know you'll have learned a heap. Look out next season. Big thanks to Brad Costigan for all his hours on the job. That's gotta be the neatest team photo we've seen this season. Nice work

25.01.2022 Our major sponsor the Kootingal Bowling Club has allowed us to raise some much needed funds through the sale of Hundred Club tickets about once a month from 6pm on a Friday night. We'll be there tonight, if you're looking for a relaxing watering hole and a Chinese feed. Of course... we’ll be the guys wearing purple

23.01.2022 Without a Presentation Day this year the Committee decided not to award perpetual trophies. However, it became apparent that one person had gone above and beyond when it came to investing in the success of the Club this year. So, we quietly decided to award the Club Person of the Year (Non Player). Brad Costigan is the first and last person at every Premier League training session and game. As Squad Manager he sets up, assists players and keeps the show on the road. He the...n trains and runs a junior team almost as a side hustle. He holds a Committee position, attends meetings and helps out with the miriade jobs that go with delivering community sport. It would remiss of me not to point out that behind every solid volunteer is a supportive partner and family backing them up. Congratulations to Brad and a big hug... oops elbow bump for Jodie, Charlie & Will. Your dedication to the Club has been huge and our thanks is barely enough. See more

23.01.2022 We had a men's and a women's team play in the Johnson Cup today. Both played exceptionally well with close scores and the ladies going down in the grand final to Tamworth FC, after getting around them during the round robin series. If ever there was a photo that sums up the Kougar Kulture... this is one Still mucking around after 4 very wet, cold muddy games. Well done players. Well done coaching groups. ... Hope you're all in a hot bath by now. See more

19.01.2022 The Kougar merchandise trailer will be at Gipps St again this Saturday (24th Apr) from 9am until midday. 14.01.2022 Underpinning Andrew Vernon's adult life have been three powerful and stable forces - each one complimenting the other to enhance the overall experience. Kootingal & District Football Club

14.01.2022 The KDFC Grahame Wise Memorial Trophy is a tribute to a great man who left our Club and this world too soon. The Old Man Award pays tribute to a player who, despite the body failing to keep up with the mind, continues to register, turn up and play. Congratulations to David Johnson, one of the ever reliable midfielders of Kooty 3rd Grade. I'm his acceptance speech DJ paid homage to Deco Rub, Leukoplast, bath salts, Chinese herbal tea, two knee guards, an ankle guard, a back ...brace, hearing aids, bifocals, meat only diet and an early bed. It's DJ's fourth year of taking out the title and the Club holds great expectations. The remaining 20 positions on the trophy should see him play well into his eighties. Congrats Dave. You're a great part of the Club. See more

05.01.2022 We often get asked by people and other clubs: "how do you know when a player has played 100, 200 or even 300 games?" An investigative journalism case lasting 12 months can finally reveal the identify of the Club Statisician. It is none other than... drum roll please... Richie 'the human spreadsheet' Barber. A man who bleeds purple, lurks amongst us on the sideline as well as continuing to play himself. He is the gate keeper of this treasure trove of knowledge dating back near...ly 30 years. Richie himself is a 300 plus game player. A big thanks to Richie and his merry band of helpers who ensure a copy of each week's game card gets rushed into the Barber bunker for the benefit of the players and Club. Luv ya work Richie ! You're an absolute stand out. See more

04.01.2022 Big shout out to our 2020 Premier League Squad. In their first year in the top echelon they were able to be competitive, foster a healthy culture and keep having a laugh along the way. 28 players across 2 divisions and 3 coaching staff. Year 1 of a 3 year plan and we're already kicking around some ideas for next season. Thanks to Chris Jarrett, Bob Barber and Brad Costigan for their time organising and growing the crew. ... The Squad sponser is Alpha Apparel and we couldn't have done it without them. See more

04.01.2022 Tomorrow (Sunday 4th Oct) is the last day to register a Summer 7s team. If you've got a bunch of friends and looking for a bit of fun on a small field, why not nominate a team. Great way to get our stay active and to have a bit of fun. https://northerninlandfootball.com.au//summer-football-ta/

03.01.2022 Congratulations to Andrew Vernon who, yesterday became only the 4th player in Club history to rack up 300 games. He's also the first 'Kooty Kid' to do so. Verno started with the Kougars as a junior. His 300 games don't include his junior games. Entertaining end to the match when he decided to destroy his shoulder in a hotly contested goal shot. Well done Verno. You're a great ambassador for the Club.

02.01.2022 It's taken me a while to get this image and well worth the wait. What a regimented looking bunch. Well done to our W League team on a really fun season. On and upwards !

01.01.2022 Great end to the season for the U7 Kleva kids giving it everything they had in their last game. Coach Linda Bridges is really looking forward to seeing them progress next year. Well done crew!
