23.01.2022 Today was Mrs Simpson’s last day. We conducted a small assembly with presentations by both staff and students. To conclude, students and staff made a guard of honour and clapped Mrs Simpson out of the school. Mrs Simpson celebrated by ringing the bell for the last time. Thank you Mrs Simpson!

19.01.2022 Students of Kootingal Public School eagerly demonstrated their proud footy colours Friday 25th September, the last day of Term 3. Not only did they enjoy showing their footy colours, the students also enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of movies with popcorn supplied by the school as a treat. We hope everyone is enjoying their holidays just as much. Mrs Cracknell

18.01.2022 Today we've been blessed with the best weather to commemorate Anzac Day. Dawn Service at Bendemeer, coupled with the mist rising from the Macdonald River, was lovely. A small but significant Veteran's Walk was conducted at our local Kootingal ceremony with poignant and moving speeches by former veterans. Thank you to our students and families who were able to attend and to our captain group, Riley Robinson, Emily Hatton and Sophie Hogg, for their attendance and the laying of wreaths. Thank you to the RSL of Bendemeer and to the Kootingal Lions Club for the hard work to ensure today's ceremonies were possible. As always, it is a pleasure to represent our school and community at each of the events. Mrs Cracknell
