17.01.2022 ASSISTANCE REQUIRED - DANGEROUS DRIVING Police need your help to catch a dangerous driver who was doing more than 70km/h over the speed limit in Hallam. The whi...te Holden Commodore, bearing no registration plates and no rear bumper, conducted a burn out in front of an unmarked police car on Hallam Road just after midnight on the 13th of November. It then ran a red light on Star Crescent, almost colliding with another vehicle, before fleeing north on Hallam Road at 130km/h in a 60km/h zone. If you recognise the vehicle pictured or the person driving please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au

15.01.2022 Lang Lang Drug Duo!! On the 23rd August 2020, an 18yr old learner driver entered the #covid checkpoint at Lang Lang. The learner driver and his 47yr old superv...ising driver (aka mum) were alcohol and drug tested. The result of the tests both returned a positive result for cannabis. The supervising driver stated she shared a joint with her son last night and thought it would be out of their systems. Both tests will be sent to a lab and analysed and should they return a positive result, mother and son will lose their license or permit for 6 months. Drugs stay in your system a lot longer than you'd expect. If you take drugs and drive, expect to be tested. First time offenders will receive a $496 fine and 6 month licence suspension. #cardihwp #covidcheckpoint #drugsarebad

14.01.2022 Today, the 29th of September, is National Police Remembrance Day. Today holds a special significance for police throughout Australia as it is a day for police t...o pause and honour officers whose lives have been cut short while performing their duty as a police officer. This important day is also a time to remember police officers who have lost their lives through illness or other circumstances. Today, we remember those fallen members and take strength in the knowledge that their memory lives on in our hearts. Police Ode As the sun surely sets: dawn will see it arise, for service, above self, demands its own prize. You have fought the good fight: life’s race has been run, and peace, your reward, for eternity begun. And we that are left, shall never forget, rest in peace friend and colleague, for the sun has now set. We will remember. We will remember. Hasten the dawn. Police Ode written in 1995 by the late WA Police Chaplain Barry May.

13.01.2022 Mammoth Trip today out to Goldsborough a nearly 4 hour trip each way Our driver was pulled over at four seperate checkpoints during the return trip but as we are deemed essential workers and have the required travel permits no worries for our drivers. Our permit does not however cover our passengers who are required to justify their own reason for travelWhich wasn’t an issue for today’s passenger

10.01.2022 On Friday 24 July, Frontline Tactical Unit members were working the vehicle checkpoint in Lang Lang at around 5AM when a vehicle was evasive at the entry, tryin...g to drive on. 09.01.2022 We elected not to acknowledge let alone celebrate our birthday last year as we’d just lost several thousand dollars of work through the cancellation of the Grand Prix and the Robbie Williams concert, Jobkeepers hadn’t been announced yet and the future looked pretty bleak But we’re hopefully through the worst and still here just about We still have six drivers and cars stretched from Phillip Island round to Mornington (and looking for at least two more ) and with their suppo...rt and the support of the travelling public we hope to be around for a few more years yet Thank you to everyone who’s ever traveled with us especially this last year and welcome to those if you who take your first trip with us this year Contact us- Messenger: m.me/kooweerideshare WhatsApp: wa.link/hexagonalgroup #we_have_a_car_for_that #seanthechauffeur #hexagonalgroup #koowee_rideshare

07.01.2022 Koo Wee Rideshare was established to fill a gap in the products of the traditional Rideshare providers such as DiDi Ola and Uber. Being that we are at the extreme edge of their respective networks it's not always possible to get a car when you need one and when you can get one, there can be a lengthy delay. Via this Facebook page we accept advance bookings, ideally 24hrs out and on the day you pay the driver direct by credit card . ... We are all accredited with CPV Victoria, and our vehicles are licensed Hire Cars. Each driver operates under their own ABN's and we regularly drive for at least one of the big boys. If you want an immediate hail and ride service please continue to use the traditional players apps but if time is critical ( Airport runs, Medical appointments, Interviews etc), and you still want great rates, then send us a message and we will get back to you ASAP.
