25.01.2022 Meet Terri. She has been attending KOPD Gold Coast for 6 months. Terri joined our class to improve her balance, gait and activities of daily living. Terri says that boxing has helped keep her Parkinson’s symptoms at bay as well as boost her confidence. Terri looks forward to meeting up with her Parky buddies and boxing has become by far her favourite way of exercising

21.01.2022 Meet Eugene. He has been coming to KOPD Gold Coast for 6 months. Eugene joined our class to improve strength, fitness and slow down the progression of Parkinson’s. Eugene says he really loves coming to class for the boxing routines and can feel his movement, alertness and motivation has improved.

06.01.2022 Meet Paul. He has been coming to KOPD Gold Coast for around 2 months. He loves to give cheek to our coach Carolyn and volunteer Debbie! He enjoys talking with other group members and is already feeling the benefits of boxing. Paul feels like he is able to move easier and is not so sore. Paul says he would recommend others with Parkinson’s disease to come and have a go!

KOPD is a unique safe , adapted style of boxi...ng specifically for people with Parkinson’s . We are spreading all around in Australia, with over 40 trainers between the various states who are improving the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s through the beautiful art of Boxing ( with a twist) If you know anyone with Parkinson’s , don’t wait .
