21.01.2022 A simple question goes a long way!

20.01.2022 Enjoy the outdoors this week!

18.01.2022 Over the past 2 weeks the Green Team have collected rubbish from classrooms to get an idea of how much waste we are sending to landfill from our lunch boxes. On average we are bringing... 235 chip and bar packets 30 zip lock bags (that are not being reused), 65 plastic tubs (yogurt etc), ... 70 drink boxes 20 plastic spoons 20 squeezy yogurts 35 pieces of glad wrap 60 other bits and pieces of plastic waste. That’s a total of 535 single use plastics going to landfill just from our school, each week! We know we can do better than this! Next Wednesday we are holding a special Rubbish Free Lunch Day and ask that families think about purchasing and packing less or no waste in student lunches. Let’s all work together to reduce our waste!

18.01.2022 The students at KDPS had another great session of ‘kids teaching kids’. Our grade 5/6 leaders are doing a remarkable job to plan and teach different activities.

17.01.2022 Congratulations HoL team...what a great contribution to our community.

13.01.2022 The school holidays are nearly here again and these holidays the Koroit Library is offering an activity pack for you to pick up from the library. Just phone the library 55658230 during normal opening hours or leave a comment below to arrange the pick up of your pack. Enjoy!!

13.01.2022 One of the many ways our whole staff have stayed connected with our students and families is by sharing some uplifting movies and messages based on the theme for the week. This week is 'footy' colours week, so we thought we would get into the spirit and finish our remote learning journey by connecting with our school and wider community. Enjoy the game.

12.01.2022 We look forward to providing more detail in the very near future.

12.01.2022 There is no better way to end term 3 other than with a ‘footy’ colours day. We congratulate our whole school community on what has been another interesting term. The positivity and connectedness has been pivotal in supporting everyone - staff, parents, students and the wider community. Enjoy a well deserved break, see you all back at school in term 4

12.01.2022 Wet weather activity...happy holidays!

11.01.2022 Today HoL was all about the presentation of our picnic table to the Koroit CFA. After the presentation, some of the CFA volunteers showed us around the new station and most importantly, how to squirt the fire hose! We thank the Koroit and all CFA volunteers for all that they do for our community to keep us safe.

10.01.2022 All KDPS students will be watching and discussing this video clip during GROW. We encourage parents to also talk to your children about the feelings of all players and spectators during this game. We Choose Kind at KDPS!

09.01.2022 The results are in! Congratulations team KDPS we made our way around Victoria in 2 weeks and have managed to make a start on South Australia - what a brilliant effort!

09.01.2022 We have had a fantastic NAIDOC Week, celebrating past, present and future local and national Indigenous people, language and culture! Teachers worked hard to ensure each day this week held a new experience for all students, who continuously make us proud with their commitment and passion to learn more about Australia’s history and the knowledge of our First Nations people.

09.01.2022 Our Community Leaders Mia and Rex led us in our virtual Remembrance Day ceremony at school today. We learnt about the significance of Remembrance Day and observed a minute of silence dedicated to soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation.

08.01.2022 This busy week is also National Recycling Week! Today our Green Team made some beautiful recycled paper beads and started some artwork using recycled markers. We’ve been saving old markers for a couple of years for this project! This year’s National Recycling Week theme ‘Recovery- a future beyond the bin’ promotes using less virgin materials and reusing and recycling as much as we can. After all, there’s no planet b!

08.01.2022 We would like to support the WEPS Respectful Relationships community project ‘MirrorMirror’. The project is based on the notion that we learn our behaviours from those who model them to us.

07.01.2022 Happy 1st of October! Optimistic October sounds like a great plan ...

All for a great cause and a cracker way for our community spirit to shine bright. See more
