20.01.2022 Well today was short and not so sweet unfortunately with not a single person that wasn't drenched on the oval for the whole the day, a huge thank you to all competitors that braved the conditions to compete no matter how hard you prepare for an event as an organising committee the only thing that is out of our control ultimately is the weather. Tomorrow is looking much more promising on the weather front thankfully. A huge thank you today must go out to our judges and steward...s that braved the conditions to allow the rings to run though their classes, and gain qualifications. Harness was a very welcome addition back to our program and will hopefully build from today for future years. Massive thanks goes to: Natasha Monkton and steward Karena Gow Tegan Murley and stewards Shannon & Brianna DeBont Peter Allen and steward Taylor Brown Bethany James and stewards ; and All of our competitors

Wow is all our committee can say we were delighted with the amount of competitors we had attend our new program on our new date, we appreciate everyone who travelled from near and far to attend, being that it was our first year running this format it was a big unknown for our committee, and we are very happy to say it was a success. A few teething issues that will be taken on board for next year but the day ran very smoothly regardless. A massive thank ...you to our judges Jane Mitchell, Mel Council, Penny Johnson, Wendy Trimble, Daphne Valentine and Kim Bilton for giving up their time to judge at our show it is greatly appreciated. 15.01.2022 2020 Feature Show Program Sunday 16 February 2020 Hi everyone as explained in our previous post our show has changed it’s format for 2020, please see below program for our feature show. A huge shout out to everyone that has assisted us with putting this together, we have taken into consideration feedback from previous years and hope that our small committee has been able to put together a program that everyone is happy with, I’m currently working hard to have an electronic ...link to the program created and I will update the page as soon as that happens. In the meantime a PDF copy is available if you email [email protected] and request the Sunday Feature Horse program. **Please note the full Show program for 2020 has gone to print with several errors, the committee are working hard to rectify this but this program attached is the full and correct program for the Sunday feature show. 14.01.2022 Korumburra A & P Society (Horse Section) is very excited to finally announce that our Sunday Horse program will be changing its date for 2020 show and beyond. Our new date will be Sunday 16th February 2020. In previous years our Sunday show has struggled to gain numbers due to our show competing with other shows on the same date and other external factors. We are now looking forward to expanding our program further with running on this new date. Key things to note: - The Sa...turday program will continue to run on the actual show date Saturday 8th February 2020, it will have a more simplified program and the classes will hold no qualifications for VAS shows. - The Sunday program classes will be eligible for VAS qualification. - The Sunday show program will not be released in the show schedule, we will have a separate program format. - Programs for both show days will hopefully be released end of Nov. - The new program for the Sunday show is still in drafting stages and will follow a similar format to previous years (ie open rings & breed rings). - There will be camping and plenty of room for parking for the Sunday program. Please Note: This will not a change the format of the Korumburra Show itself. It will still run on the 2nd Saturday in February each year. We are only moving the horse events from the Sunday of the show, to the following Sunday in February. Please feel free to share this post to let the equestrian community know. Korumburra A&P would also like to thank all our valued exhibitors and volunteers for their support over the years to whom have keep our show running to make it to 125 years in 2020.
