03.01.2022 Dear Players & Members, with the 2020 season cancelled some families/ players have asked if refunds of fees are available. While the club will not be participating in competition there are still costs incurred to ensure the club remains operating and in a strong position for the 2021 season, however the club has decided to offer refunds of membership and football registration, unfortunately Netball Vic have advised there is no refund of VNA registration. Some members may cho...ose not to have their membership refunded and this will be welcomed and greatly appreciated. If you would like a full or partial refund please complete the attached request and return to Nadine via email by the 31st July. All sponsors will be contacted separately in the coming weeks to discuss your supporter packages. Thanks for your continued support Stay Safe Giants Family See more

02.01.2022 PLEASE HELP!!! I LOST MY NEW BOOK!!! Thanks to some keen eyed young locals I managed to find the pages of my first book, which inspired me to write a new TWE...NTY PAGE sequel Well you’ll never believe what happened to it today! I went down to the KORUMBURRA SHOWGROUNDS to give my book one last read; I walked round the oval and suddenly all my good memories of playing footy came flooding back and I decided to play a bit of make-believe! I was running around, dodging, weaving, side-stepping (all the things I never actually did in a real game ) and I got totally lost in the moment! So much so that when I got near the CITY-END GOAL, I threw the imaginary ball on my right boot and WHAM!! Booted the thing for miles! only I didn’t have a ball in my hand did I?... it was my BOOK!! And typical for me, just like in a game, all my TWENTY PAGES pretty much flew out of bounds on the full! - Now I’m pretty sure I heard page 1 go through the NETBALL RING and land somewhere around there it had GREEN RIBBON on it. I reckon pages 2 and 3 are visible if you’re reading page 1, both somewhere between it and the grand stand (I’d recommend carrying on walking ANTICLOCKWISE around the oval from there). Page 4 nigh on ended up in the changing rooms via the STAIRS where I used to run out. Page 5 and 6 landed pretty close together near the FLOODLIGHT tower. I guy started TAPPING THE POST when page 7 nearly hit him might have been trying to tell me something?! Page 8 landed just over the white line in THE TOP POCKET, just on the grass verge. I heard 9, 10 and 11 hit THREE SEPARATE BUILDINGS on the top wing! 12 landed on the grass verge in the OTHER TOP POCKET. Now 13, 14 and 15 went flying! One hit a TREE up the steps towards the gazebo I reckon the other landed in the gazebo! 15 hit the GAZEBO AND BOUNCED BACK towards the WOODEN FENCE near there! 16 just missed the city-end point post and landed behind the advertisement boards. 17 put a dint in the SMALL POST, out on the full still ! 18 I shanked and it rolled just left of said post! Now I’m not sure where 19 landed but it sounded like it hit the SCOREBOARD SIREN so I’d check around there. As for page TWENTY, which was wrapped in all gold ribbon well that couldn’t have been too far away! - Anyway, I was pretty embarrassed that all twenty pages missed the entire goal from 5 metres out so I did what I always used to do and feigned an imaginary injury and ran off the ground before I had chance to look for my book! So if anyone feels like reading the sequel to Ruby’s adventures you’ll have to go find it for me again!... very sorry You’ll need a very keen eye for this one so let me know how you go

01.01.2022 Flash back Friday. Presentation night/day 2017.

01.01.2022 Just because the footy has stopped, the work for the committee still continues. Our maintenance chief, Phil has been busy putting the final touches to PKs castle. There are plenty of other jobs to do also, so if you have a skill or trade and some spare time get in touch with Phil Huguenin. Great work Phil.

01.01.2022 WANT TO GET INTO THE BEST INDUSTRY IN THE WORLD? Fish here from the Middle Hotel , I started my career as a chef 20+ years ago and here is a little how it went ...; Day one - Cut the top of my thumb off and off to Cowes hospital in the old pub ute (14 days off) Third week in- Taking a pot outside full of boiling water and eggs. Next minute half a dozen bin chickens flying around knock me over and burnt legs and feet . Eggs, birds everywhere and the boss firing up the ute ready for cowes hospital again(week off) 2 months in- burnt my finger in the fryer , off to again and the next day we headed to Moe races for publicans day . After a big day of course we needed to stop in at the Espy Inverloch on the way home . Next minute burnt finger jammed in front door , fractured burnt finger .(more time off) 3 months in- Set a power point on fire then Bain Marie short circuits and my hand is attached to a pair of Tongs and zap zap zap , I’m electrocuted and off to hospital again Back in the pub ute with Pete thinking my days are numbered now at the San Remo Hotel The whole point of this story is now I’m looking for an apprentice chef and just wanted to let you know that I’m still in this industry after all of that so it can’t be that bad . Chef days are done funnily enough but all of the above was worth it so if your thinking you would like to jump on board please apply to [email protected] #whatcouldgowrong Jump on board at the Middle
