21.01.2022 Our first Skeet & Tower event of the year

20.01.2022 KGC members were out and about today. We had a full squad of shooters at Nepean CTC for the State SB Cont title and their Club Cont Sheild. Mark took the overall title in the state event and Jo cleaned up in her grade with a very impressive AA score for the Club Shield event and 2nd in the state event. Over at Traralgon Darren King also had good wins in both events.

20.01.2022 Thats Old Angles Day done and dusted. 8 squads enjoyed some challenging targets in great conditions. Thankyou to those that came along, we really appreciate how everyone did the right thing and maintained social distancing. John Keane was too good on the day taking overall with a perfect score. Other overall grade winners were Olivia Comelli, Andrew Kent and Graeme Boyd. A special congratulations goes to Graeme for winning his first ever sash, well done! Thanks for a great day everyone.

19.01.2022 Well done Mark and Adam taking the prizes at Bairnsdale in tough conditions. Another good turn out of KGC members supporting Gippsland clubs with Jo and Darren K making the trip as well.

19.01.2022 For any of our members that intend to shoot Tower at Walmer Gun Club, please note it's Saturday 14th and NOT Sunday 15th as advertised in the VCTA program book.

17.01.2022 Results from 28th Nov - 50DB 50PS - 13 Squads Thankyou to everyone that made the trip to Korumburra on Saturday. It was fantastic to see all of our friends once again. We had some very impressive scores on the day with most grades requiring a possible to take the win. The first event was hotly contested with AA having to shoot their last 20 off 25m in the shoot off just to get a result. Tony Kupsch showed consistent form to take a well deserved overall for the day, great ...to see. Other highlights of the day were Shane Cunningham shooting his way back into AA and our latest Junior star, Zac Gardner, hitting 99/100 for the day and straight into B grade with a AA score. Mark Coleman had said to Zac before the shoot if he could hit 50/50 in the DB he'd give him $50, apparently that was all the incentive he needed to shoot well! Thanks to everyone that helped out to make a fun shoot and especially to the amasing Kristy Grattan who showed that woman can not only multitask but they can also multi-multitask buy nursing a baby while running the office.

Bill Griffiths found his way to Walmer for tower. Max Oakley, Tim and Jack Stockdale had wins at Frankston in the skeet comp, we also had Adam Monaco there having a crack at the Duke of Glouster Cup. 08.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone that made the effort to compete today. There were only 4 squads as the weather wasn't the best so the Perazzi owners naturally stayed at home keeping the numbers down. Stu Allen posted a fantastic score of 149/150 winning the day, congratulations to all the winners. A big thankyou goes out to Andrew Jennings who made the round trip from Bairnsdale to run our office, it just highlights the special relationship the Gippsland clubs have with each other. https://reports.myclubsmyscores.com//winner.da6ece41-c910-

01.01.2022 KGC was well represented at the Morwell 'End of an Era' shoot on Sunday with Jo, Adam, Rowen, Mr Jack, Darren, Dave and Mark making the trip. Mark was lucky enough to win the handicap after a lengthy shoot off, while Darren picked up 2nd in PS, front marker in handicap, 2nd in DB, Grade High Gun and the one he was most happy about, a leg of lamb in the raffle. Some competitive scores were shot by the others just falling short of the prize pool. Well done everyone.
