07.01.2022 I’m so glad this memory rolled around. I’ve just been discussing with my friend and colleague Adam, from Enhance Yoga, the changes that are occurring around us as autumn rolls in. This past weekend, my trainer Matteo Giofre took us on a day retreat to Hepburn and one thing I really appreciated (particularly as we did an ice bath!) was the nourishing, warming food that one of our hosts, Julie, made for us. An outrageously good paella, chicken curry with loads of divine veggies and digestive spices - just fabulous. I’m really looking at some changes to my cooking at home this week - going out into the garden to grab some rhubarb and poach it with some pears. I’ll dig the slow cooker out and get a casserole on, and tonight a warm bath and abhyanga - self massage with warming oil. What are you doing to adapt to the change in season?
