24.01.2022 Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the Korweinguboora Recreation Reserve will be closed to the public until further notice. We the committee believe this to be the right thing to do to, as we cannot guarantee that any surfaces within the grounds perimeter have not been contaminated. 14.01.2022 Letting you all know we’ve had some more theft from the reserve. 6 of our 12 solar panels have been stolen. It just amazes me why people will steal from a voluntary run community facility. Can we (the management committee) ask, that if you’re passing by the reserve, please take a little detour, just drive in the drive and drive around the ground, the more people that do this, it will make the place look busy, it might detour would be thieves.

06.01.2022 Santa finds us every year for our Community Christmas. He made his way by motorbike this year!

06.01.2022 Unfortunately for the second time in as many months we have been robbed. They have broken into the pump room and stolen the pump. They have also stolen the two LED spotlights from the front of the hall. They've jimmied a back window open and ransacked the kitchen and storeroom. They've kicked in the servery door between the hall and the kiosk. They've also tried to pull out the mains power cable between the hall and the supplying power pole, resulting in well over $1000 in da...mage repair to the power supply alone. The replacement of the pump and spotlights, the repairs to the broken window, the damaged pump room door and the servery door will also easily exceed $1000. It's frustrating. Until we are able to do the necessary repairs and have the power reconnected, the toilets and BBQ's will be out of order. Sorry. Michael Waters Korweinguboora Recreation Reserve Secretary See more
