Here is my ever so faithful picking companion ever so eager for our annual picking of such plump organic Blackcurrants from Aunty Daphne’s back garden! We make cordial and jelly with our pickings last night we picked 7 kgs and it looks like we hadn’t even made a dent in the massive bushes! 12.01.2022 Today we baked and decorated a cake for this Australia Day! My daughter has wanted us to have time to do this particular cake from her favourite cookbook by @katherine_sabbath like for weeks now so today was the perfect opportunity to have an iconic beautiful Australian animal the Koala as our dessert cake today after our BBQ tea this evening! It was absolutely delicious cake was a a fluffy moist honey cinnamon cake with each layer filled with @kosiecountrymade raspberry jam and the most beautiful buttercream icing ever! Can’t recommend this cookbook enough! It’s amazing the instructions are so very easy to follow to achieve great results!
