23.01.2022 Good morning Parents and Carers, There is quite a lot of debris around the school from last nights storm. We do have electricity and school is fully operational for all students and staff. Mr Ward and myself are currently ‘making safe’ the entry areas and footpaths around the outside of the school. We ask that you please take care when parking and getting out on to the footpaths. Please remind your children to stay away from the piles of branches and sticks around the ou...tside of the school. OOSH gate has some large branches that have been moved back to allow access. Thank you for your care, safety and consideration whilst we clean up from the storm. Mrs Maxworthy Principal See more
23.01.2022 Morning KSPS community. With only 3 days left of school, there is still much to do. We look forward to seeing your child in school. Please keep an eye out for this weeks ‘What’s On’ sent via Skoolbag this afternoon. The 2020 school year is nearly over.
23.01.2022 This term I have been working with Stage 1 teachers and their classes. We have studied the quality text ‘Big Rain Coming’ - closely analysing the text structure and features, the vocabulary used to describe events, the visual images and personification techniques as well as the grammatical features used throughout the text. Using the structure and time connectives of the book, Stage 1 students have created their own text called ‘Big Holiday Coming’. Here are some photos of students in 1/2E and 1/2MC creating their own texts. I am very proud of their finished products! Mrs Ward
