24.01.2022 Sasha needed some new wheels for his Cyclocross style bike which uses Cantilever brakes. Turns out the Kotavelo D21 although built using disc brake hubs were the correct hub width and the styling suits this bike really nicely.

Because of supply dramas the only replacement bike he could get had Disc brakes on it arrrghh! Thanks to our community we managed to pass Dan's wheels onto Steve saving everyone on freight. 13.01.2022 The Kotavelo R21, R21HD, R42 and R42SE are all compatible with XDR. Have just ordered a small number of XDR freehubs due to a customer request yesterday. There will be an upcharge for XDR in the medium to long term but the option is there and it is a 5-minute swap with basic hand tools. Anyone already riding or considering XDR?

Have a customer there who's ordered a set which have not yet arrived but he has just written his bike off dancing with cars and unfortunately could only get a Disc brake replacement frame. I'm going to send him out a set of Kotavelo D21 for his new bike but would like to try and minimise the freight costs by not returning his R42's all the way back to Queensland.

02.01.2022 Christmas was extra special this year. Many years ago I set aside a light weight 650C sized frame knowing my son would one day grow into it. Well, I'm very proud to say I have a new training buddy with a couple of road rides under his belt!! If he keeps me motivated enough this year we might start road racing once he is old enough. I also finally killed our Kotavelo R21 test wheels - well could have fairly easily kept them going but it is hard to do maintenance when you h...ave 1000 sets of brand-new wheels at your disposal... I decided to give the Kotavelo R21HD a go which is one of our biggest selling models. Being a 70kg rider I've always ridden the standard model but I can undersand why the R21HD has been selling so well and has become a favorite with our dealers.
