06.01.2022 world plumbing day was last week ,it was informative and as a plumber i learnt somthing about possiible health risks relating to storage tanks in the roof space . a person was feeling unwell and went to the doctors ,lead poisioning was the cause of sickness ,various tests were done at the premisess and the source was in the pipes ,lead from the joins in the header tank leached in the water supply ,with the weak pressure often in most gravity feed systems cross connected at times leaching lead making the water supply contaminated . if you have a tank you should have your system checked especially the age some tanks are now reaching. steve plumber infoman
