20.01.2022 As the old saying goes, "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur". We rolled up to a recent job and found that the previous 'handy man' had used duct tape to bring this join together, they also didn't even use any glue! You can't script this stuff...

18.01.2022 The Kovele crew have been working hard at the Rosanna Bowling Club to carry out a massive bathroom renovation on their female toilets, along with assisting in the extension of their office and ladies lounge. It's been a great project so far, with many of the club members volunteering their time to help out. Special mentions go to Ken Bar, Russell Hyde, Ted Helleyer, Glen Lyons, Jim Gregory and Bruce Langford. These guys have rolled up their sleeves and made this project possi...ble. Apologies if we've missed anyone here! Also, a quick shoutout goes to Brad from TDT Topdeck Tiling and Sparkies Colin & Max - these guys have been awesome. With the renovations on track to be completed soon, we've had our challenges along the way. Before we even started we had a massive demo to get through and crooked walls that would have made tiling impossible. However, all this hard work will be more than worth it. With ceiling to roof tiling, heating and stylish marble bench-tops, the new ladies toilets will make a fantastic impression at functions and member events, and be a long-term asset to the club. The bowls club really is Rosanna's hidden gem, especially as we head into the warmer months. We look forward to sharing the finished result and it's been a privilege to be involved so far.

15.01.2022 With all the technology now available to plumbers we're almost IT people these days. Although, when it comes to gas leaks, the ol' soapy water trick never fails to uncover a leaky gas pipe. We found this gas leak the other day, and luckily we got onto it before someone decided to crank up the barbie right next to it! ... If you ever suspect a gas leak, always be sure to call up a licensed plumber to come out and have a look at it - your eyebrows depend on it...

04.01.2022 Well, there’s the problem... This property was experiencing floods every time it rained. It didn’t take long to find that this HUGE 6 meter root system was growing in their drains. ... We ended up removing all the roots and fixing up the drains good as new

02.01.2022 The things you see on the job... The owner of the house was having ongoing problems with their hot water unit. Once we opened up the hot water unit, we found an old regulator (about 20 years old) just sitting in the flue's housing unit. ... It's lucky that this place didn't blow up!
