13.01.2022 Due to coming weather pool will be shut today. Activities will be down at the MPC today. Dodgeball is on the cards. For the younger age groups from 3pm -5pm Bigger kids after 5pm. see you this afternoon.

09.01.2022 NRL are here in Kowanyama. Down at the centre we are doing the level 1 rugby league coaching course 600pm start. BBQ dinner before with our mens group also.

05.01.2022 2 Day Forum with QLD Sport and Recreation. This forum is to Inform our staff with up to date research about trends in professional and community sport, for our team to Network with other peak bodies around the state and upskill in many workshops with such topics as Facility and Pool management, women in sport and fitness industry and growth in your facility. Very informative so far.

02.01.2022 Hey Kowie kids and parents, Today 3.30pm we start our 4th week of the Junior Minh-Kular Academy. We will be taking the kids through skills and drills and have got the NRL team (Sean) to come help our coaches and other volunteers with coaching and Referees courses. Second session for coachetraining starts at 6.00pm tonight at the centre. Anyone is welcome but we plan to take the kids to Pormpuraaw for a friendly game in 3 weeks for Naidoc. Come down and help. All parents and community member welcome. See you at 3.30pm today at the school grounds near the library.
