20.01.2022 It’s been a busy fortnight with just shy of 30,000 bales going into the sheds but we now have plenty of new season hay available. Lucerne is available for $18, Ryegrass $14, Balansa Clover for $18, we also still have a large supply of Teff hay available for $14.

08.01.2022 A bit of common sense, please respect the request. If you can’t, you will be kindly asked to leave (with no hay)

06.01.2022 People will travel a long way for a quality bale of hay. 1800km and 1507 bales to be exact. Road Train loaded and ready for the trip back to Charters Towers, poor North Queensland driver is freezing, only brought thongs and may lose his toes to frost bite.

05.01.2022 We’re always innovating here and I’ve come up with a new ventilation system for the hay shed. Dads not overly please by the aesthetics though.

04.01.2022 The hAy team have been busy. 4800 bales of lucerne bales overnight, just got to cart them in now

03.01.2022 Finally finished all the Ryegrass for 2019, now to start on teff. Nice, soft/green Ryegrass is available for $14, there’s about 15,000 of them so plenty to go round!

01.01.2022 That’s the last of the hay baled for season 2019/20 it’s actually been a very good season for making hay with conditions being kind most of the time. Big thanks and job well done to the very casual crew Mick Jones, Thorpy and Wes. Will provide an update on pricing and availability in the coming days.
