23.01.2022 Really excited... Rainer has had one of his artworks accepted to be part of the Inaugural Morris Art Prize- first prize being $10,000.00. Lets hope he wins Here is the painting. He has been quietly working on for this. The theme for this is "Brisbane to Byron". 19.01.2022 Woop-dee-Doo!!! On Tuesday (17th) Rainer finally turned 70. He is now Officially an Old Man!!! As in the words of Simon & Garfunkel...."how terribly strange to be 70...." We decided to celebrate this momentous occassion in the style that was befitting to it..... we booked ourselves into the Star Casino for 4 nights, and boy did we have fun. It was also our 35th Wedding Anniversary on the day before (16th), so the celebrations were on-going, and I tell you, the alcohol was flowing well. Anyway - not to bore you with all this, but we are back home again, the stereo is cranked (sorry neighbours), the wine is still flowing, and we are happy.

13.01.2022 I know it has been far too long since my last Blog post - so sorry for that. We have been quiet lately, working on our combined stories, and generally recuperating from the traumas of the past few months. Without going into too much detail here, we have had two close family members pass away, plus both of us have experienced a downturn in our own health. But not to dwell on that too long. The year is almost at an end, Christmas is just around the corner, so with that - w...e both want to wish all our valued Clients , Friends (and many clients who have turned into very good friends over the years), a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A PROSPEROUS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. 07.01.2022 Well, it sure has been a very long time since my last post here. Just before Christmas last year, Rainer was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, and as such has had to spend many long hours between doctor's waiting rooms, hospital waiting rooms and many, many specialists waiting rooms. Fortunately though, the doctors and specialists are all of the same opinion, although the cancer is aggressive, it is very treatable, and as such that is what is happening. As well as th...at, we have also been in the unenviable position of moving house. The lovely unit we were renting (and called home), was suddenly no longer available for rent. So, with only a few weeks in which we could look around for our new place to call home, we managed to score a really lovely 3-bedroom villa in a fabulous waterfront complex. We have been here now for just on a month, and are slowly learning how to relax again, and with a bit more time, I am sure our creativity will once again return. So watch this space, there will be new artworks on the horizon, and you will see it here first.

05.01.2022 Well thats a turn of events. Just had a phone call from the Morris Art people. Seems that Paradise Moon was requested by the Judge to be displayed after all. He was most adamant about that. One very happy artist after a week of glum. Judging takes place tomorrow night - keep it all crossed for us.

05.01.2022 With the world being in a state of slumber for so long, due to the Covid, I have been trying to keep sane by knitting up a few bits and pieces. Anyway, after a lot of unpicking and some really bad language, I have come up with these little soft sculptures - based on the Disney series "Mandolorian" - so here is my version of "the Child - aka Baby Yoda". 04.01.2022 Well it has truly been a while since uploading anything here. Life sure does have a way of getting in the way. It has been a tumultuous few months, the least of which being the very sad, and sudden death of Rainers brother (Peter) followed a week later by the death of his favourite Aunty. On top of that Rainers health has not been the best - but last night he was able to smile again as one of his earlier (and secretly one of his favourite) paintings has sold. THE POLLENATOR is now SOLD.

02.01.2022 Just to let you all know that we are still alive and kicking. Sorry we have not been on-line so much lately. We have had in the last couple of months two deaths in the family, and then we popped over to New Zealand for a few weeks just recently, to look after Carols father. So because of all this upheaval, there have been no new artworks created..... but that will be addressed very soon. In the meantime - here are a couple of works still available.....
