23.01.2022 The weather was not on our side when we took some countrymen to willie creek for a fishing diversionary activity with MOSAC, having to leave early because of on coming rain. it was a good half a day out in the end but we'll get them next time

13.01.2022 Another great Kullarri Patrol BBQ at Mamabulanjin last week. Thank you to Social & Emotional Well-Being (SEWB), Kimberley Mental Health, Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Service (KAMS), Mens Outreach Service Aboriginal Corporation (MOSAC) Changem Ways program and BRAMS for coming along and joining us.

12.01.2022 1. Manage the Project Kullarri Community Safety Patrol service and operations including the Department of Communities Aboriginal Community Connector Program, administration, budgeting, stakeholder liaison, recruitment, statistics, management of day/ night and weekend shifts of drivers and patrollers, training co-ordination and advice necessary to ensure effective field operations in accordance with service funding agreements and contracts and the implementation of the Kullarr...i Patrol Strategic Plan and the Broome Community Safety Management Plan. 2. Represent Kullarri Community Safety Patrol and Mamabulanjin Aboriginal Corporation at relevant stakeholder meetings including government and non-government agencies and if necessary represent Kullarri Community Safety Patrol on relevant committees. 3. Promote Patrol Services offered through regular contact/ communications with community businesses, bodies and organisations that benefit directly and indirectly from Night Patrol Services particularly those that currently or have the potential to contribute in-kind, make a donation or offer financial support. Such organisations should include but not be limited to: Publicans, Sporting Associations, Local Shire, Local Police, Shopping Centres, Medical Service Centres, Substance Abuse agencies, Service Stations, Festival co-ordinators, Youth groups and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups. 4. Liaise with funding bodies, and prepare funding applications including budgets, as necessary for the expansion, promotion, development and operations of the Night Patrol, for submission by the organisation. 5. Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors of Mamabulanjin Aboriginal Corporation, the CEO and funding/ support agencies on the Patrol Services provided and how they meet objectives of the respective funding service agreements and contracts and the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody from the community with regard to services needed by them. 11.01.2022 Kullarri Patrol Manager Duties: Be responsible for general day to day management and operations of the Broome Community Safety Patrol including seven-day shift roster, Diversionary Program, Front Line Response and Front Line Client Referral, Food Rescue and requirements of the Department of Communities’ Aboriginal Community Connectors Program.... Essential: C Class MVDL, management experience and ability to work with and communicate effectively & sensitively with Indigenous people. F Class MVDL Endorsement desirable. Police clearance and working with children certification will be required if successful for the position. 04.01.2022 Was a wonderful day ... many hidden surprises found and mystery places many of the women had never visited before! Special thanks to Roebuck Roadhouse for awesome Rib bones and kind hospitality!!! We had a magical day .... everyone singing along to the Beatles Yellow Submarine
