22.01.2022 So good to again be assisting Momentum Media Pty Ltd with the Australian Defence Industry Awards. A mammoth effect with simultaneous live events in Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane with streaming to each other. Well done Geraldine Correa and Jennifer Hardy and your team. #events

21.01.2022 It was great to be invited to assist Momentum Media with the Australian Space Awards 2020 last night at The Star Event Centre. So good to see events slowly coming back, albeit in a hybrid way. Congrats to all the finalists and winners.

21.01.2022 Enjoyed being part of the PCOA20 conference, albeit virtually. Lots of good tips to survive in Events in 2021.

17.01.2022 We are pleased with the great response to the API PowerChem 2021 "Call for Papers". We anticipate releasing the API PowerChem 2021 conference program at the end of September. The event is still being planned as an 'in-person' event, but there will be several international speakers 'zooming in' to present and share their knowledge. Please get in touch to receive the program as soon as it becomes available or visit the conference website: http://powerchem2020.w.australianpowerinstitute.currinda.co#

16.01.2022 API PowerChem in-person Conference 2021 is postponed until May 2022. Unfortunately, as with many events scheduled for the first half of 2021, The Australian Power Institute (API) have made the difficult decision to postpone the in-person PowerChem 2021 conference until May 2022 because of the uncertainty of Australian State border closures and COVID-19 outbreaks. We regret this inconvenience, but we hope to see you in-person in 2022. However, all is not lost. In place of the ...in-person conference we will be running a shorter online Summit. The Summit will be two afternoons (10th & 12th May) with Keynote speakers and 7 other pre-recorded technical papers. All technical papers will be available for people to watch anytime the week prior, or at the designated time in the program. Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. The program also contains a community discussion session so everyone can have their say. The full program and registration details are available on the Summit website: https://powerchem2021.heysummit.com/ #powerenergy See more

04.01.2022 Does anyone have any 'sports-events' covid-safe guidelines that they are using and can share? ie. running a sports game/match as an event, and the specific practises/procedures that are required to ensure the event is Covid-safe (other than the usual name recording and sanitising, as it is a little difficult to social distance on a sports field during a game). If you have something you can share with me, please email [email protected]. Thanks.

02.01.2022 Well I’ve been busy during COVID updating my skills. I’ve just received my TAFE certificate for a short course on ‘computer aided design planning for events’. Does anyone need their event floor plans drawn up?
