02.01.2022 We are a small family owned 3 rig drilling company based out of Jamestown in the mid north. Currently we seeking 2 personnel to fill the role as Drillers assist...ants. The role will see you travel throughout S.A., N.S.W. , N.T. , QLD and W.A. working on mineral exploration sites and Water well leases. Applicants must be Physically fit and enjoy working in an outdoor environment Essential to have a strong team player mentality Willingness to travel away for extended periods of time Mechanical aptitude Self-motivation A willingness to learn Will diligently follow instructions Drug free (Successful applicants will go through a full medical prior to employment) HR Truck licence Senior first aid Duties include Assisting driller Collecting and store drill samples as per client’s requirements Maintaining drill, trucks and support equipment Maintaining down hole tooling Assisting with camp duties Summary Drilling is hard physical labour. You do 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for up to 4 weeks straight and you spend more time with your team mates than your family. It is not the job for the faint of heart. You get paid well for your work and all food and accommodation is supplied by the company. This is an excellent opportunity to earn good money, receive a paid trip around Australia, and to gain skills and training that will see career advancement in the drilling industry.
