24.01.2022 The S3 Funky Art Stall has been in creativity overdrive in preparation for Saturday... Fishing net scarves drawn from the deep Snoods, infinity scarves and traditional scarves hand-crafted in the style of fisher folk who lived by the shorelines and the waters of the sea.... Lovingly handmade to add a touch of texture and colour to an outfit. Cast on when the sun dips low or stash away for next winter. Mixture of acrylic and wool fibres. Textures and colours include - Abalone (grey/cream/pink) Barrier Reef (green/purple/blue) Beachcomber (cream rib woven with pink) Coral (pink/orange/burgundy) Periwinkle (purple) Sea glass (sand with coloured specks) Seagrass (khaki/multi/cream) Seashells (pinks) The Deep (blue on blue) The Shallows (mint green foam) The Surf (blue/white wash) (Another Mine by Mia creation - all proceeds to Kensington Primary School).
23.01.2022 CAKE STALL DONATIONS Room 10s Cake Stall will be receiving contributions of cakes, slices etc on Friday 28th October 2:45 - 3:30pm in the Staff room and also on Saturday from 12:30pm prior to the fete. 22.01.2022 Look what the memorabilia committee have found.the school punishment book from the 1950s, a wide range reader and a blackboard compass! My goodness times have changed.make sure you come past the memorabilia display to have a look at the history of the school and make sure your name isnt in the punishment book! 19.01.2022 Marlena Burling and her mum have been extremely busy putting all the hampers together ready for the raffles that will run all day. Check out just a few sample pics - and one of them could be all yours with just one lucky ticket in your pocket! The hampers will be on display outside the staff room in the Quadrangle area.... Thanks to all those who have contributed items for the hampers. Good luck in all those raffle draws - S4 will be busy!

16.01.2022 One of the most popular activities with primary school age children is face painting! KPS is very lucky to have a professional face painter within its parent community. The fete committee are pleased to have Faces by Nicola hosting a face painting stall on fete day. Nicola has been hard at work preparing for fete day by teaching several art students at Kent St SHS how to paint some of the most popular designs. Nicola and these Kent St SHS students will continue their hard ...work on fete to keep those lines moving and kids faces smiling! 13.01.2022 Class Stalls Rosters - WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each class will have a roster of parents required to help on the day. Please support your childs class and the school by alllocating yourself to a time slot. The more helping hands we have the lighter the load on all of us. ... Many have spent hours of time organising the stall, and the event more broadly, so it is important for everyone to pitch in by committing to an hour or so of their time on the actual day. If you have more time than you have pledged to your class stall, please contact Rowena Mills on 0419 190 211 as there are several Fete Committee activities that also need rosters filled. All support is greatly appreciated and there is always the promise of a few laughs and getting to know other parents at the school.

His business has now gone one step further in their support of KPS and donated several dog & cat "show bags".
