24.01.2022 Weekly road report as at today, Wednesday 13 January 2021. Stay safe. Remember if it's flooded, forget it.

24.01.2022 Queensland’s borders remain closed to Victoria and anyone entering the state must sign a border declaration. Anyone who has been in Victoria in the last 14 days... should not come to Queensland. If they do, they must undergo mandatory quarantine in a hotel at their own expense for a minimum of two weeks. The state’s borders will reopen to visitors coming from all other states and territories from July 10. All visitors must complete and sign a border declaration to confirm they have not been in Victoria in the past 14 days. Penalties apply for false statements. 22.01.2022 BREAKING: We cannot spoil the hard work of Queenslanders and put our plan for economic recovery at risk. From noon this Friday, July 3 anyone who travels from V...ictoria including Queenslanders will be prevented from entering Queensland unless they complete 14 days of hotel quarantine at their own expense. From July 10, our borders will open to travellers from other states and territories who have not been in Victoria. Queenslanders’ continued efforts in uniting against COVID-19 means restrictions can ease a week earlier than expected. From July 3, more people will be allowed in more places and to attend more events. Don’t risk a second wave of COVID-19. If you are unwell, please call your GP or 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84) to arrange a COVID-19 test. Remember to keep social distancing and keep up good hand hygiene. Let’s work together and continue to keep each other safe. #covid19 #uniteandrecover #qldjobs

06.01.2022 Tackle Up! How good is it to to have the Anglers Classic as part of the Outback by the Sea Festival this year? While it is a celebration of our fishing lifestyl...e, the event raises funds for the Gulf Barramundi Restocking Association to purchase fingerlings to restock the Albert and Norman Rivers. That's a fabulous cause worth supporting so check out their Facebook page and find out how to nominate. Even if you don't bag the trophy fish you'll help to create a sustainable fishing future for everyone. #OutbackBytheSeaFestival #events #carpentariashire #karumba #normanton #gulfsavannah #exploretnq #outbackqueensland #thisisqueensland #beautifulonedayperfectthenext #seeaustralia #holidayherethisyear #goodtogo

05.01.2022 QUEENSLANDERS!! WE ARE OPEN!!!! Guys and girls, as of midday today Queenslanders are free to travel within Queensland with the exception of some of the remote ...aboriginal communities as they are still under bio security protection but Karumba IS GOOD TO GO!! Unfortunately for the moment the government is keeping our state borders shut for the month of June and will go under review again at the end of June so all our friends and family beyond these borders keep your fingers crossed and your eyes and ears on the news and relevant government web sites for any changes. We hope to see some of your friendly faces soon. Don’t forget to keep up your social distancing and good hygiene to keep all of us safe and well. See more
