It is a celebration held across Australia each year celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. During this week, educators have been engaging and working alongside the children in different experiences and activities to support awareness of the Indigenous Australian Culture. The children engaged in various art and craft activities. They crea...ted flags and boomerangs, painted rocks, solved puzzles, sung with clapping sticks and much more! Providing the children with these experiences allows them develop their understanding and empathy skills by responding to diversity with respect.
