24.01.2022 Bathroom completed at Albany creek this is definitely a bathroom that looks 10 times better in person. The tiles on the wall were the largest tiles I’d ever seen and the gave the whole bathroom an extremely luxurious feel. Great work from David Jesson and the team.

23.01.2022 Had a customer contact Kraken Plumbing in regards to water pooling at the back corner of their pool area due to poor fall on the concrete. Installed a new channel drain and 90mm PVC to a larger pit in the backyard. Once the drain was complete the area was hosed down with no water pooling in this area. Another happy customer

23.01.2022 Always check your flexible hose connections throughout your property. This will take 2 minutes of your time and could save you thousand of dollars. If you see rust spots on your hoses give Kraken Plumbing a call urgently. The damage caused from one of these hoses splitting could be disastrous, especially if no one is home to turn the water off.

22.01.2022 Hot water system relocate completed today at Morayfield. The old Saxon hot water unit had enough and gave up on life. The new unit is now outside and the owner has gained more storage in the laundry.

17.01.2022 Nice little bathroom reno at Strathpine. Installed a Reflux valve to prevent sewerage travelling back up the line in the case of a blockage on the main line. If this valve isn't installed the floor waste in the bathroom will act as the lowest overflow point causing a massive mess in the living quarters downstairs.

17.01.2022 Stormwater re-run at Strathpine. A lot of plumbers still run stormwater drainage with flexible connections at the base of downpipes, don't prime the main lines in the ground and use straight tees. It is so important to run stormwater drainage the same way as a sewer line, so all the junctions are sweeping towards the outlets. This way if blockages occur they can be easily cleared with a Hydro Jetter or Electric Drain Cleaning Machine. If your house suffers with ground water pooling or blocked stormwater drainage call Kraken Plumbing for a free quote.

15.01.2022 Hot water season is creeping up If your hot water unit is exposed to the elements outside and is roughly 10-15 years old, make sure you inspect your hot water unit as it could be burst and leaking without you knowing. Always look for rust around the base of the unit and brown water exiting your faucets. It is definitely a lot more convenient to get your hot water unit replaced before it burst. 12.01.2022 Blocked drains dont always go to plan. Went out to this beauty at Sumner over the Christmas holidays and had 6 cables caught in the drain. Once the drain was excavated it was clear to see why the cables were caught in the drain. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. Kraken Plumbing is looking forward to a great 2020
