22.01.2022 Krause Health and Safety has been a local family run business in Mount Isa since 1996. Through this time Krause Health and Safety has grown and expanded with the demands of the community. Krause Health and Safety has been major sponsors to many community events such as the Pink Ta Ta run for local breast cancer patients, Irish Dancing candidates to go away for National events, Highland Dancing fundraisers, Blackstar under 14s Rugby Football and Vixens Netball teams. Last yea...r Krause Health and Safety held their first Mums with Bubs First Aid course and their first annual Free Family Fun day with an amazing turn out which provided all attendees the knowledge and skills to prepare themselves in emergency situations. The local Queensland Fire Emergency Services, Rural Fire Service and Police were also in attendance. With the Covid 19 restrictions and the importance of social distancing, Krause Health and Safety has had to postpone our family fun day until further notice. Therefore, Krause Health and Safety would like to extend an exciting competition to any students within your school community who have an eye for design or passion for art. This artwork will not only be displayed on all Krause Health and Safety’s social networking but the successful winner may have their artwork displayed on our new Confined Space and Working at Heights trailer (photos attached) . Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are money value vouchers where the winner will be able to select from any of the following: Itunes EB games Kmart BCF Sportspower This mobile training will be able to ensure that Krause Health and safety can not only service the Mount Isa Community but outward communities as well and we look forward to the possibility of having a local young artists work to represent that. It has been an motto of Krause Health and Safety for a very long time that to benefit from the community , you must give back into that community.

20.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM! Che'-Anne grew up in a very small country town where everyone knew everyone. At the age of 18, she left the little town to travel around Australia, her first stop was Mount Isa to catch up with a friend, where she also found her now husband and decided to plant roots. Che’-Anne has spent much of her career in real estate as a property manager and sales person. She is a proud mum of four beautiful children and has continued to work through their growing years. ... In 2020 Che'-Anne hit the ground running with Krause Health and Safety as a PA and Compliance officer, she is the driving force behind our e-learning portal and has been integral in its implementation and ongoing customer assistance, she is our ‘go to’ person for all of your E-learning questions. Che'-Anne has also re-written all company documentation to meet current standards and requirements. There is no challenge too great for Che'-Anne and she meets all of them head on with a smile (while throwing in the occasional practical joke to keep us all on our toes and full of laughs) It is such an honour and pleasure to have Che'-Anne as part of our team and we look forward to many more years of comraderie and laughs with her See more

18.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM! Meaghan has been the magician behind the scenes since 2011. Meaghan worked as a senior hair stylist for many years in Mount Isa before turning a complete 180 working in the transport industry driving forklifts and trucks, she then took a break to raise her 2 girls. It was during this time she accepted a temporary position at Krause Health and Safety. Loving the change in atmosphere and wanting to acquire a different skill set, Meaghan accepted a position in Adm...inistration with Krause Health and Safety and over the next 3 years worked into the role of Compliance officer. Then, in 2016 after the retirement of a long-standing employee Meaghan took the role of Financial Officer in stride. During Meaghan’s time with Krause Health and Safety she has contributed to develop many policies, procedures and business incentives. She has been the sound voice of reason and advice when required and provides ongoing support for all staff. 17.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM! If you have called the office, then chances are you have received the verbal hug from our warm and bubbly Ebonie. Her professionalism and attention to detail is perfection. Ebonie has come from an extensive background in managerial positions throughout the hospitality industry. Ebonie started working while in her senior years of high school part time and as soon as she flipped her graduation cap, she took on the role of Duty Manager at Splash Café for 5 years.... It was onward and upwards on the totem pole for Ebonie when she accepted the position as a restaurant manager for a further 3 years. During this position Ebonie easily transitioned into the position of Events Manager/ Wedding coordinator. It was in 2017 Ebonie said good bye to the city lights and hello to the Red dusted lands of Mount Isa where she continued in Event Managing with the Red Earth Hotel and Isa Hotel. During her time in the Isa, not only did Ebonie fall in love with the country lands but also a local Mount Isa man. In 2018 Ebonie had to once again join the Hussle and bustle of Darwin’s city life working as a Duty Manager and Functions and Events Manager for a popular Tavern. However, in 2020, Ebonie returned to Mount Isa with partner in tow, and accepted a position with Krause Health and Safety in Administration. Being Krause Health and Safety’s first point in contact, Ebonie’s warm and lovable nature is without a doubt going to leave a lasting impression when you greet her. See more

07.01.2022 UNIQUE SOLUTION FOR REMOTE SAFETY TRAINING A Mount Isa training provider has come up with a unique way to help rural properties and mines do work place h...ealth and safety training, without having to leave site. The company has had a trailer custom built so it can deliver training in working at heights and confined spaces in rural and remote areas. Wade Krause from Krause Health and Safety said it can be challenging and costly for remote businesses to keep staff training up to date. "It's difficult to shut down a business for the day and send 20 students to go and do it, so a lot of them have to do it one at a time."
