23.01.2022 As promised on my snap.. Roasted beetroot hommus w avocado, creamy danish feta and dukkah on ancient grain slices This beautiful photo does justice and I didn't want to add an insta filter. ... These flavours are like an amazing fresh savoury explosion in your mouth! Drop the feta and you've got yourself a vegan friendly dish! Recipe below Beetroot hommus: 2 large fresh beetroots 1 can (400g), organic chick peas - drained and rinsed 1 TSP fleur de sel (sea salt) 2 TSP crushed garlic 3 TBLS organic tahini 2 TBLS squeezed lemon juice 1 TSP ground cumin 2 TBLS water Base & topping: (1 serving) 2 slices ancient grain and seed loaf 30g creamy danish feta - crumbled 1/2 avocado- sliced 3g Dukkah mix (or make from scratch toasted pistaschios, sesame seeds, coriander, cumin, oregano, salt and thyme) Method: - Cut stems from beetroot, wrapped in alfoil, and bake at 200 degrees Celsius fan forced for 2 hours. - Once cooked let cool and peel the skins from the beetroot, chop and place in blender along with chickpeas and garlic and blend for 1 minute. -Add remaining ingredients and blend for a further 1 minute. -Slice bread, place roasted beetroot hommus on top, add sliced avocado, feta and dukkah. -Done, Enjoy! #Healthy #Nutritious #Roasted #Creamy #Inspo #Delicious #Hommus #Flavour #Spices #RoastedBeetrootHommus #Pretty #Beautiful #Recipe #Nutrients #Colour #Breakfast #Lunch #Snack #Ideas #Recipe #Flavour #KraveTraining #Food #Inspire #Crave #Avocado #Organic #Feta #Grains #FoodForFitness

15.01.2022 EDIT: This photo comparison is to show you that you can lose body fat percentage (weight), maintaining (your well and hard earned) muscle percentage while still looking very similar in comparison and doing it the healthy way. I loved my the way my body looked at 71kg, and i still wanted to visually hold that full volume look. And I did! 12.01.2022 So today resulted in 2 achievements, 120 kg deadlift/s, and the mental break through that led to this deadlift. I couldn't be happier, mostly because of my positivity, motivation and willpower. Being scary sick and trying to recover these past few months resulted in time off training, dropping weight volume, and strength and training days lost. That is one of the hardest things to deal with mentally and physically for anyone. I've learnt that being stubborn and not list...ening to your body gets you nowhere, (this isn't the first time but it is the last). I was forced to rest and that was the most frustrating thing, but I did it, and today after working sets I told myself I can do it, that it's just too easy to give up and that there is no reason for me to give up. Why be negative towards your self when you can go back to being happy and positive if you think clearly and different?! So I didn't give up, I pushed through and I did it, this is both a mental and physical achievement and break through his time round. We all go through this at some stage through our lives, just rest when you get sick or you'll be worse off in the long run! It's harder for me because I'm strong headed and stubborn. 12.01.2022 I made these little bundles of goodness tonight, and geeeee do these flavours go together well! Give them a try, recipe below! 'Black Rice Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls w Chia Peanut Dipping Sauce' Serves 16 ppl @ 2 each... Ingredients: (Rolls) 1/2 roast chicken (baked w skin removed) 1 cup grated carrot 50g baby spinach leaves 1/2 thinly sliced continental cucumber 1/2 tsp whole egg mayonnaise - (each roll) 1 cup cookred organic black rice (I cooked mine in rice cooker) -SUPERFOOD 1 fresh avocado (thinly sliced) 16 small round rice paper sheets Peanut sauce: 3/4 cup organic smooth peanut butter 2 TBLS freshly squeezed lime juice 1 TBLS organics coconut syrup 2 1/2 TBLS hoi sin sauce 2 TBLS light soy sauce 2 TSP red chilli paste 3 TSP organic black chia seeds 2 cloves crushed garlic 1/3 cup water 1/2 TSP toasted sesame oil Method: 1. Wet 1 rice paper sheet with warm water and place on bench top on clean wet cloth 2. Place around 5 stemless spinach leaves on rice paper, form a line and place ingredients closer to the start of the rice paper sheet (leave a few cms to grip paper) 2. Then place ingredients on top of spinach leaves in a line in order of: carrot, avocado, cucumber, roast chicken, mayonnaise, and black rice. 3. Pick up front edge of rice paper roll and lift it to cover the ingredients you've just placed on your rice paper, keep rolling and fold left and right sides over ingredients, then continue to roll until there is no remaining rice paper to be rolled. Wallah, there is your rice paper roll! easyyyyy! 4. Mix all peanut butter dipping sauce ingredients together, microwave for 30 seconds, then mix again. Wallah, dipping sauce made! 11.01.2022 Ready to start this new chapter in my life and it's only up from here! Running a business for myself and being my own boss lady! Yay! I have the biggest support system and amazing people in my life to help push me through any hard times in the future. It's not easy being a Personal Trainer but its the best and one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I get to better the lives of others as well as myself for as long as I can. Opening my own gym has always been a big d...ream of mine, and it's now a dream come true. #ImmaCry An opening day is in the near by but not just yet, and work starts on Monday! Bring it on! And with amazing people I might add. I'm going to miss working in close proximity with my fellow PTs, staff and beautiful gym members, but I usually always keep in contact and associate with everyone. So don't stress you can't lose me that easily. I'll definitely miss workong alongside the most hardest working, most experienced, dedicated, functional, intelligent, motivating knowledgeable and the most positive and supportive PT/Trainer I know- IVO! A big shout out to him, he is one of my biggest PT inspirations and he's one of a kind. Thank you IVO for everything! I'll never let you go. Also the Biggest and best shout out to my Fiancé and soon to be husband for all that he has done to help get my new business up and running! Literally blood and sweat! He works (and still is working), endlessly to help me reach my life goals and make me happy in life and he never stops! He's like a never ending battery, only it doesn't matter how tired or exhausted he gets nor what stress is thrown his way he will push on until he can't move a limb no more. That's when i make him commando crawl around the place. He's so amazing and I could not have done this without him. 06.01.2022 Thanks for the post / shout out @tamstar1972 Can I just tell you all how amazing my client/friend @graciehutchison is?! She's amazing, amazing, determined, strong and healthy! She's smashed out every PT session with me twice weekly for past 12 months. She's mastered her nutrition and only treats herself in moderation. She's dropped body fat percentage while toning her muscles and tightening her skin over a period of time that is non damaging to the human body. In other wor...ds no diet fads, no starvation, no diet pills, no medication and no unhealthy amount of weight-loss weekly. She's done this with pure will power, motivation, focus and determination. She's not a morning person (trust me ), but her drive and dedication to having a healthy body and feeling great inside and out has her coming to me at 6am in the morning!
