01.01.2022 The most important part of self-defence training for most people is to learn to become aware, to know what conflict looks like, how to avoid it, your relationship to it, how to de-escalate it and how to ultimately control yourself so you can get home safely. No matter how many punches and kicks you learn, no matter how tough you think you are, nothing can beat not having to fight (perhaps for your life) in the first place.
