22.01.2022 Well we did it. We can now start the massive restoration in a state of the art location in Newcastle. Let’s get together and raise the funds for stage 1

21.01.2022 Krawarree is a beautiful boat with such a wonderful history to it, now needs a helping hand. We need to help it, refurbish it, and we need to get it back into the water and we need to show it off to all Australians and to bring back to life the wonderful unique piece of wartime history that was the Krawarree. So, please donate generously. Thank you https://www.mycause.com.au/page/233560/rescue-krawarree

19.01.2022 The restoration of the ambulance ship AH1733 Krawarree has been the long-term dream of Tweed local Bob Mobystack. Bob is an ex-serviceman with a distinguished career in the marine section of the Australian Army and so the connection he feels to this vessel is not surprising. After graduating from the School of Military Engineering and qualifying as a seaman diver, he spent a total of 21 years serving his country, including 2 years in the Papua New Guinea Defence Forces, and a...nother 2 years as a Marine Officer in the US Army. After seeing active service in both Borneo and Vietnam, Bob spent the rest of his military career educating defence personnel in diverse situations like dive instructor for a commando company, training for members at Perth Water Transport, as well as, and Melbourne Water Transport for Antarctic resupply, support for the SAS and training of members of the Army Reserve. Bob initially retired to Airlie Beach but eventually moved to the Tweed area where he still resides today. #krawarree #restorationproject #australianpride #warambulance #australianheritage #support #supportforrestoration

15.01.2022 The Krawarree is 1943 built Australian Army War Boat used during World War-II. It only one left of the five built and it is made of Huon Pine timber. It has been left to wreck and ruin, so the Krawarree Community Group plan to bring the Vessel back to life with the help of the community. We request every Australian to help to restore this boat. We have a deadline to relocate Krawarree to a new home where restoration can take place. we need $40,000 to relocate and build a roof... over the ship.
