20.01.2022 Great to see Ku-Ring-Gai Toastmasters hosting the Area 9 Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contest. Our competing members did us proud with Shan taking out 3rd place in the TT Contest and Dan delivering a funny speech about warnings in the speech contest where he was up against some strong competition. Our member Stephen did a fine job as MC of the speech contest and Dan gave a polished Vote of Thanks. ... Congratulations to the winners and best of luck at the Division Contest. And thanks to Jason and Mike for all your organising.

19.01.2022 Another excellent meeting last night and we have two new members! It will be wonderful to be part of and support their Toastmasters journey. If you are interested in Ku-Ring-Gai Toastmasters, we meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Visitors are welcome. Our meetings start at 7pm at the Greengate In Killara.

15.01.2022 Need to improve your Zoom communication and presentation skills? Need to impress the boss? Have a Zoom presentation that you need to nail coming up? Ku-ring-gai Toastmasters offers a friendly, supportive and caring environment to increase your public speaking and communication skills. Our club is still meeting on Zoom, giving members an opportunity to polish their online presentation skills and impress your work colleagues. We have a variety of members, some who are brand... new and some oldies. However, each one of them offer an opportunity to help you increase and enhance your presentation and communication skills. We meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month 7pm to 9pm. If you are interested in a visit, message us or email at [email protected] We'd love to have you join us.

15.01.2022 Every time I attend a Ku-ring-Gai Toastmasters meeting, I leave feeling better than when I arrived. Even our Zoom meetings leave me with a positive experience. This is due to the support, warmth and camaraderie of our club. As our incoming President Shan stated so warmly, we are a family.

15.01.2022 Does the thought of public speaking make you sweat with fear? You’re not alone. Public speaking is one of the highest rated fears along with death and spiders! However, public speaking organisations like Toastmasters International with our local club, Ku-ring-Gai Toastmasters is here to help you. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’re still meeting via Zoom. However, this may be a silver lining for those who get nervous about public speaking, because we’re only seeing e...ach other on a screen. This makes it a less direct, softer option for getting started on increasing your confidence and skills for public speaking and all-round better communication skills. If you’re interested, send us a message or get in touch by email at [email protected]. We’re a friendly club who don’t take ourselves too seriously. It’s a small step with big returns.

02.01.2022 AGM for election of a new executive at our next meeting. Regular roles of speaking and evaluating etc will also be on so we encourage visitors to come along and see the most effective, friendly and entertaining club around. Monday 1 July at 7pm for a prompt start. Bring up a drink from the Greengate front bar and order a meal for the break time. You won’t regret the journey out on a cold winter night. Very warming!

02.01.2022 Looking for something new to try? During lockdown you've learned how to make bread, play the guitar, practice yoga and now you're looking for something else. Look no more, Ku-ring-gai Toastmasters is a small, friendly club that offers a supportive atmosphere to enhance your communication skills. As we're a small club and still meeting by Zoom, it offers you a softer option for starting your public speaking journey. It may make the nerves a little easier to handle.... We are a small club which means it’s not as intimidating and you get more speaking opportunities. Our club strength is our friendliness and the quality of speakers we attract that provide ample opportunity to learn and grow in communication confidence....
