22.01.2022 Have you ever wondered what this giant box in the middle of our cafe is!? Well, funny you should ask. It's century old goods lift car which was extracted from the lift shaft. It survived a pretty busy life carrying timber and furniture up and down the factory since early 1900s. All the pulleys above were remnants of the mechanical that we got out of the old lift shaft. Also beside the counter, we have the old antique governor which stops the lift when it moved too fast!
