10.01.2022 So Australia is feeling like these guys this week. Its been a tough few weeks for all of us. Watching this beautiful country burn, watching families lose everything and the devastation this has caused to our wildlife is absolutely heart breaking the response from other countries has been just overwhelming. The support everyone has given, the donations we have received and the immediate action America and Canada took getting their best fire crews here to assist us has bee...n beyond what we would ever ask and with our whole hearts we thank you, appreciate you and are forever grateful, words cannot even describe our gratitude. In Australia we believe in what we call mateship and to our culture that means equality, loyalty, and a friendship, unbreakable, bonded by these values and we have all made a few new friends for life as well as ensuring the ones we had are more solid then ever. Whenever a disaster strikes it tears peoples lives apart but it also brings people, communities and countries, together. I have been a teary mess watching the devastation unfold but I have also shed many tears of joy and absolute pride when I see not only Australians coming together, but the rest of the world doing what they can not just for the people effected but the wildlife and this beautiful country we all love and admire so much. As you can see from these images of animals rescued, they have suffered tremendously. They feel like us, they see what we see and are just as devastated emotionally and mentally.
