25.01.2022 We were the last ones at Eungai Creek Buffalo and the owners were sweet enough to let us get a birds eye view of their beautiful property. Thanks for some of the best pizza and gelato! Can't wait to come back! @ecbuffalo
23.01.2022 Grateful... This is how I feel when one of my first time fam's tell me they were referred by another one of my amazing families . Yeah, that happy dance happened! And this part may sound a bit odd, but after being in Port for almost two years, you get used to everyone's accent (because let's face it, I'm the one with an accent here)... The first time I spoke with this family, I heard another US accent! When you've been away from home, just that little bit of familiarity was so comforting! The more we chatted during our session the more similarities we kept finding between our stories. These are the connections I'm continually grateful for.

21.01.2022 Play with the energy! One of the most common concerns I get from clients before a session is how their littles are going to act and how we're going to keep them happy during the photoshoot. I'm a parent, and I feel ya! These are my two adorable crazies pictured here (by one of my amazing friends @jackson_james__ ). ... NOTHING goes exactly as planned when kids are involved, because lets face it - they run the show no matter how much we try to ! When we embrace their beautiful energy is when the magic happens! Let them run, let them get their sillies out - those are the moments we want as parent anyways right?! If you find yourself having those worries, you're not alone! (I even had to remind myself of that during this shoot!) And after all, it's about capturing those imperfectly perfect moments and having fun! See more
19.01.2022 Well we’re all in self isolation mode here. After talking with family and friends in the States, I’m focusing on all the positives our beautiful community has to offer. From all the small businesses with unique services and goods, to the vast open beaches and hiking trails that are right in our backyard - the Hastings area really isn’t a bad place to be isolated. Topping it off, the support in this town for local businesses is heartwarming! Keep on supporting local, let’s keep local businesses here! 14.01.2022 Our little dude turned 5! Even with the moving and iso chaos he had a pretty awesome day! Waking up to bats leading him to his birthday gifts and opening a special card made his morning! But he couldn't have been more excited to see his birthday cake from @dessert_firstt ! Birthdays this year are a little different for everyone, but we can't miss out on celebrating!

13.01.2022 Right before we moved we got a beautiful bunch of flowers from @garnatestate . They were absolutely stunning, and well, I ended up photographing pretty much every single flower in the bunch - I couldn't help myself! and NOW I want them blown up and framed on the walls lol. So, needless to say, expect more flower posts. LOTS.
