21.01.2022 So this is 40! I just wanna thank my mum for raising me into this force that I am. She’s instilled all the right values, shared my culture and always been in my corner supporting me with every single thing I’ve done. Regardless the accolades I’ve received, I’ve really enjoyed the ride: I’ve got the most amazing business partners in Katina, Damien and Jahna. 3 people who know me inside out and allow me to be me, and support me to do the work we do. Big thanks to my best friend...s Amy B, Amy G and Nathaya and my two brothers from other mothers Dave and Mitch. Your with me day in and day out with my every drama, but continuing to encourage and push me. I seriously had the best night with the small group of the special 20 who I could welcome into my home and celebrate my life. I love my kids and I strive in everything I do to make this world better for them. So glad they got to share this moment with me. Big love peeps #iturned40 #happy40thbirthday See more

We never take for granted the opportunities we’ve been afforded. 14.01.2022 Today I honour and celebrate the life of my Uncle, John Kinsela Uncle John was a sincere and humble man. He worked hard his entire life. He was a private man, completely selfless, and forever generous and giving. He was more than my uncle, a father, a coach and a hero, a man I truly adored.... I loved everything about him. Read this article which shares his story, the eldest of 10, a Two time Olympian and a Vietnam Veteran. His legacy will be remembered. He will be forever in our hearts.
14.01.2022 These Grazia photos are incredible.. just had to share one more time.. what an experience to be dolled up like a boss queen ! Still reeling..
13.01.2022 I’m sick to death of hearing about lateral violence. Some people need to check themselves, and the bullshit they project onto other people. Today I wanna give some lateral love to my sista @jahna_ips I’m so very fortunate to have Jahna in my life. She is such a warrior. She stands strong in her identity and integrity. Her passion, resilience and determination to create a better country for our babies is selfless. Her voice is powerful. I’m continuing to learn from her everyday. And I’m so grateful the shared respect we have for each other. We have each other’s back day in day out. Jahna your amazing! Keep shining bright. #laterallove

09.01.2022 'The new dawn' Gittibaa, Wakka Wakka word for 'Dawn.' As I closed out 5 years with IPS Management Consultants, I had the opportunity to facilitate a session with the Gilimbaa team today in Brisbane. Pictured here is Shannon Ruska conducting a smoking ceremony as part of our session. It was important for me to cleanse my spirit as my next chapter awaits. Tomorrow is the Dawn of a New Day.... #TribalExperiences #Gilimbaa #KristalKinselaConsulting #Gittibaa Photo courtesy David Williams
08.01.2022 It’s not just happening in America. It has been happening in Australia since the beginning of invasion and colonisation, my people have been fighting and surviving racism, prejudice, discrimination and injustice. In my latest blog I open up about my reality, raising teenagers in a world that just isn’t equitable and safe for people of colour. #BlackLivesMatter #AboriginalLivesMatter #ipsau #Indigenousbusiness #IndigenousLeadership #supplierdiversity #InThisTogether
08.01.2022 Wiradjuri Country.. My first business trip since COVID19. It feels amazing to get out on country, to actually be face to face and not behind a screen.
07.01.2022 #Repost @ipsmanagementconsultants with @make_repost National Reconciliation Week in Australia ends today on a sombre note, in light of the terrible events that have unfolded in the USA. But what is happening in the US is not an isolated incident to that country alone. Since the 1991 Royal Commission, there have been more than 400 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander deaths in custody - and those deaths continue every year.... In this blog, IPS Directors Jahna Cedar and Kristal Kinsela-Christie write about our shared history and present as Australians, and the need to own it, together, now, to create a better future. 04.01.2022 Last week I stepped away from everything. I needed to pause, to breathe, to take some time to reflect and spend some much needed time with my kids. We’ve had a lot going on, life is never without drama, we’re all going through the motions. To stop and pull back doesn’t mean your weak. It actually means your strong enough to say, I need to take care of me. I enjoyed 4 days with my babies. Who are my entire life. I talked to them about self care, and how important it is. Thank you Covid for having my knee surgery postponed, although it seems like a blessing in disguise as it gave me time to focus on what is really important. Remember you can’t give from an empty cup. Take the time now to look after you.

01.01.2022 2020 This year has been one of the most difficult and hardest. One that has tested my will, my focus and resilience in many ways. And whilst I acknowledge how the global pandemic has severely impacted and destroyed lives around the world, it’s also taught me many positive things.... I’ve learnt that I really don’t like travelling all the time, and that I’d much prefer to work remotely because it keeps me at home. Coupled with the above, I’ve learnt just how much my kids really need me. And there is so much stuff I’ve missed and would miss, if I am away working. I’ve also learnt that I’m a good mum, regardless how hard parenting can be. I’m really doing my best, I’m consistent and I continue to be present. I’ve learnt that being agile and pivoting early is important for business sustainability. And you don’t have to have all the answers on how you’ll do it. But jumping in and having a go, is better than waiting for things to happen to you. This is how IPS survived. I’ve learnt how easy it is to use technology, such as virtual and online platforms to deliver work, and how much harder you have to work to achieve results using them. I’ve had to be so much more prepared, than just rocking up to a room. I’ve learnt to live with my mum again as a 40 yr old woman! And to recognise that we headbutt each other because we’re so similar and always right. I’ve also learnt, that no matter how much of a ‘Leo’ extrovert, and attention seeker diva I can be, that there is an introvert inside who actually needs her own space and quiet time. This year, I’ve communicated a lot more with my friends, I’ve drank less, I’ve trained more and I’ve done a lot of soul searching and working on myself. I think I’ve had a mini mid life crisis in there as well. But I’m certainly on the other side it. 2021 is going to be all about consolidation. I’m still working on what that is going to look like. But it’s going to be a year that I give myself permission to be kind to me.
01.01.2022 Happy International Women’s Day
