25.01.2022 Thank you for my birthday wishes! Just spent the best weekend away with the bestest of friends. What a way to celebrate friendship, family, birthdays and the end of isolation!

24.01.2022 Happy Valentines day lovers!

24.01.2022 Safety while food shopping. Common sense (and social distancing) prevails. https://www.mdlinx.com//top-med/article/2020/03/31/7636693

23.01.2022 My latest article follows on from the pain concepts we touched on in the last few weeks. There has also been a bit in the news recently about another type of pain medication Lyrica (pregabalin) and its harmful side effects including anxiety and depression. I am certainly not against medication, I think they are necessary and wonderful when used correctly. But it's important to look at the research, and consider conservative options where possible. https://www.kpchiropractic.com.au//painful-facts-and-what/

23.01.2022 Just heading away for a quick recharge. I’ll be closed one week, back again Friday the 19th of June.

22.01.2022 Well that was different! A very rested Easter long weekend at home and ready to return to work tomorrow. I hope you got time to stop and notice the beauty that’s around. You don’t have to look far !

21.01.2022 UPDATE - Monday 23rd March. I am currently still open and taking appointments but assessing this on a day by day basis. I have spoken to a number of agencies today including QLD health and my chiropractic representative body - Chiropractic Australia, to make sure I am making informed decisions in this very difficult time. I'm taking this very seriously, as should you. I have made a few more changes to general day to day running. ... You can expect a phone call from me the day before your appointment as a reminder (instead of a text). I will also be checking in and making sure you are feeling well, and if you are in-fact feeling even slightly under the weather we can reschedule your appointment to a more appropriate time. If i indeed start to feel unwell - even the slightest sniffle, you can expect a call and I will reschedule my appointment book. Let's face it its a pretty stressful time and my immune system is not bullet proof. I am spacing out appointments so that I have more time for cleaning/sanitising and reducing any waiting times. The Medical Centre has strict procedures in place to keep EVERYONE safe. That includes you, me, the doctors, nurses and our reception staff. Anyone waiting for appointments will be outside, as we are trying to reduce the amount of people accumulating inside. Once you have let reception know you have arrived you can wait outside on the chairs provided, or where ever you feel comfortable. Just as long as I know where to find you! I'm happy to give over the phone advice where I can and for the tech-savy video consults can be arranged if you request it. I feel lucky to have amazing hard working doctors I can consult with to help keep as up to date as possible. I am confident we are all doing our best to ensure the safety of our patients and each other. It is still important to seek help for your pain and/or injury if you need to. If you are putting off making an appointment because you have recently run into financial difficulty please just get in touch anyway and we will do what we can to help. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to get in touch. 0416 608 685 [email protected] Please take care and look out for each other. Kristen x

15.01.2022 Pain concept #9. Education is key! Knowledge is power! Understanding what is going on in your body reduces the fear of the unknown and that goes a long way in your recovery.

06.01.2022 I’m away from the 23rd of September and back on Tuesday the 6th of October after the public holiday. Just taking some time out to rest and recharge, and make the most of spring time in paradise

06.01.2022 Please know that I am currently still working from both the Mount Coolum practice on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and the Nambour practice on Thursday. We are taking extra measures (both myself and the medical centre) to keep you safe and our spaces hygienic. Whether we like it or not we are ALL in this together, and following the advice of the state and federal government and health agencies will help ensure the best outcome for everyone. This is a scary time, but remember to use common sense and act with compassion. Let's try to direct any fear, anger or sadness we may be experiencing into motivation to make positive changes (now and in the future), and bring family, friends and community together for support.

06.01.2022 And just like that its the 1st of December! that means its time to get organised... This year I will be taking 2 weeks off, from the 21st of December to the 3rd of January. Thats only 3 weeks left, including today! appointments are filling fast so if your planning to get in before Christmas call or message sooner rather than later. Next year i'm making some slight changes to clinic hours - i will be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Mount Coolum. Wednesday's ...in Nambour. Some Saturday's by appointment. Call 5446 4444 ext. 1 to make an appointment. Alternatively email [email protected] or send through a facebook message to get in touch!

04.01.2022 We made it through another week! That’s one week closer to the end of this madness. I am still assessing the situation day by day but intend to stay open for those that need it. Let’s keep it real though, it’s probably not the time to rush out and schedule appointments just for the sake of it. I want to be available for those who really need it, but we all need to do our bit to stop the spread. So if you can, stay at home . ... I’ll be bringing out details for video consults shorty which is ideal for those who are wanting to continue their care but are staying at home. There is so much we can do with rehab and Explain Pain that is completely hands off, so look out for more info in the coming days. I hope you are making the most of your down time and looking after your mental and physical health. Stay safe and look out for each other! x P.S how good is exercising outside

04.01.2022 So sorry for the disruption this morning, but we are now back on board!
