25.01.2022 Today's wedding was a secret. Therefore I can't show photos of the wedding. However this is the aftermath of the walk back to the cars. Yes. That's the groom's bum.

23.01.2022 All my weddings are special and individual. But..... But this one was special in three ways. 1. It was for a very special friend who I have known for over 20 years. 2. My brothers with their families as well as my daughter were present for the first time at one of my ceremonies. 3. It was the first time that I was able to say the new legal monitum stating that "marriage, according to the law in Australia, is the union of two people...." rather than "a man and a woman".

22.01.2022 There's some beautiful readings here but I love to help my couples find ones that are appropriate to them.

22.01.2022 This is going viral today for all the right reasons! But no matter how it's done, it's the thought that counts.

22.01.2022 Welcome to 2018. Congratulations to the beautiful couples who have become engaged over summer. Now is an exciting time in Australia for weddings with same sex marriages now legal Most of my weddings I'm asked to do a ceremony which isn't too long, but personal to the couple. The ceremonies I create with my clients usually contain personal jokes and a lot of love. I believe that you need to find a celebrant who's personality compliments your own to have your perfect ceremony, therefore I offer an obligation free meeting before you make your decision. Contact me to check if I have your date available as my diary for 2018/2019 is filling up fast.

21.01.2022 On a beautiful early spring day last year, Lauren and Al made the trek from Queensland to our beautiful Bruny Island to elope with their parents and children in tow. I was honoured to be part of their special day and share in the love. I have watched this video lots of times but it still brings a tear to my eye. Get the tissues ready! #wedding #spring #brunyisland #love #tearsofjoy

19.01.2022 And we thought our marriage laws were crazy!

18.01.2022 Would you like 5 percent off your ceremony? 10 percent off? Contact me to find out how!

17.01.2022 Such a lovely idea! Especially for an autumn wedding.

13.01.2022 Wishing all my past, present and future couples a wonderful Christmas. I hope this time is filed with joy and love for all.

12.01.2022 How awesome would this be?

12.01.2022 The cold is here and it's perfect weather to snuggle up and plan your wedding. I'm often asked as to the procedure for a wedding. Your Celebrant is in charge of making sure your wedding is legal and that the ceremony flows smoothly. The normal process I have with my couples is: - Initial meeting. This is absolutely obligation free. We meet up, have a chat, answer any questions you may have. - Couples let me know if they would like to go ahead with my services (some book... at the first meeting but definitely isn't expected). - Booking fee is paid to hold the date and get paperwork underway. - I get you to send a scan or clear photo of birth certificate, ID etc. so that I can fill in the "notice of intended marriage" (noim). - We meet again to sign the noim and have a chat about what you would like in your Ceremony. The noim must be done at least a month (and no more than 18 months) before the wedding. - I prepare the ceremony and send you a draft to make any changes you wish (except for a few legal lines). - Balance of payment is required 2 weeks before the ceremony. - I recommend a rehearsal sometime between two weeks or one day before the ceremony. - THE CEREMONY! - I send off the paperwork to BDM that allows you to order the official certificate. I can also help you with the paperwork to get your official wedding certificate from BDM. This can be sent to BDM with the other paperwork so that you are able to start changing your name asap. 09.01.2022 Oh dear! I don't think I could trust anyone else with these details for my wedding! Although I would dress up as the grim reaper if that's what both the bride and groom wanted.....

08.01.2022 I love these sweet wedding favour ideas!

07.01.2022 Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Mr and Mrs Trashcam. The ceremony was beautiful with lots of fun and extra giggles brought on by their two gorgeous boys. Jacquie and Cam were wonderful to work with and I was able to inject a lot of personality into their ceremony. A highlight as I was leaving was an older couple telling me that they wish they weren't already married so that they could have a beautiful ceremony like the one they had just witnessed with me as their Celebrant!

07.01.2022 Ah! That first look! I love seeing my brides for the first time, but honestly I love more watching the groom's face as he sees his future wife walking towards him. Who else got caught up in the wedding fever tonight?

07.01.2022 So many laughs for such a fun loving couple!

03.01.2022 As a child I couldn't keep a secret. It's something my Nan still teases me about. As an adult it turns out I love a secret! Secret weddings that is. Obviously it can't be a secret from the bride or groom but surprising guests as suddenly an engagement or birthday party turns into something more is a great feeling!

02.01.2022 Just for fun..... How many goats are you worth? A lot of the traditions have been modernised and the reasons behind the traditions have gone, but remember it's your day, your way.
