01.01.2022 The older I get and the longer I hone my craft in helping people look and feel amazing I can see that MINDSET is EVERYTHING!... A client walked in needing an outfit fitted for a wedding and stated "Its going to be cold in Melbourne so I'll just pop this jacket over the top"....( which happened to be a corporate jacket) ....and proceeded to put on her jacket over the beautiful full length navy gown embellished with gorgeous embroidered pink flowers all over. To my astonishment I could see the practicality of the jacket but nothing made STYLE sense! I could see the mindset....if I am cold just rug up..... but this wouldnt have achieved satisfaction in feeling stylishly fabulous.....only warm. Nothing wrong with being practical buuuut.......first impressions are lasting impressions and making a good impression creates a pathway for others being comfortable to approach you and connect.... Most humans want connection right?....unless your a serious introvert but won't go there.....that's another story. Having been in this game of making people look and feel amazing for 3 decades, I endeavoured to help create a style paradigm shift and reached over and pulled on a gorgeous pink bolero style cardigan that instantly made a beautiful accent to the dark gown and WOW.....instant style! The reality is.....you don't know what you don't know.....and it's ok! Style takes time and strategy to figure out but with skill it comes with ease.
