16.01.2022 Here’s a snippet of Arthur Streeton’s 'Cremorne Pastoral' (1895). Just look at the bravado in those strokes! And oh the light!!! Did you know Streeton was an environmentalist? This painting accompanied by his love of the australian gums and detests for industrial invasion helped cause the abandonment for plans for a coal mine at Bradley’s point in Mosman. Yay Streeton.
