22.01.2022 Hi to all strathbogie yogis Great start to weekend with chakra balance asanas poses this morning So lovely listening to rain on roof ,mantra music and flowing and stretching all together Energy balance in body is important ,especially to feel strong and grounded ,not giving into flights of anxiety in these times Great practice everyone this morning ... Monday 6pm bring 2 cushions and blanket for good deep stretch of yin yoga type Good for beginners and good for time out from covid concerns Speaking of that we are very spaced ,following all guidelines sanitizers hands etc However please feel free to wear a mask if you wish. I just did 1 hour exercise in my reusable mask and it was comfy no breathing problems so your choice See you soon.



21.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Thanks for your interest Patience practice and persistence has obviously kept your faith in the healing benefits of the yoga process ... All requested times for classes from thurs 5th november have been able to be fitted in After 1st week back you can write in your own times on wall charts Just a reminder along with all other covid criteria need masks ,soft paper ones are good For this current time of the year and seasonal conditions our practice will be nice and steady and soothing We will aim to feel restored refreshed and rejuvenated after each class . 20.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Group practice has been restorative in these covid times over past 2 weeks Sadly our lovely loyal and devoted yogis from seymour are now locked down and will be unable to share with us in avenel until late august when we will be back together .... THIS IS FOR STRATHBOGIE SHIRE PEOPLE For strathbogie yogis we will continue our yoga to keep flexible , keep metabolism up and moving and keep our minds peaceful. So practice will continue at avenel community hall 12 queens st 6pm Monday beginners and easy stretch class 6pm Tuesday 6pm thursday 8.30 am Saturday Groups will be smaller without our special friends from seymour and we will miss their contribution but know they will do home practice No bookings will be required for smaller group size . So now more than ever we need routine behaviours regular schedules discipline good diet exercise connection with others and positive thoughts So come along to YOGA See you thursday evenings and seymour ladies we send our well wishes Dr kristine

18.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Really looking forward to old gang from seymour getting back together at anglican church hall anzac ave tomorrow 3rd march 6.15pm . It's exactly 1 year since we all practiced in this hall in 2020 when covid interrupted us for our 1st lockdown .... Now 2021 march long weekend approaching and we are all able to practice hopefully uninterrupted . Thanks so much to amazing invincibles of seymour who travelled to avenel to keep our community yoga alive . Each and everyone of you are inspirational and exemplify exactly what yoga is about . 13.01.2022 Hi to all yogis New class seymour weekly on wednesday . Will be at same location anglican church hall anzac ave .... New start time 6.15 PM instead 6.00pm. This allows bit more time for those coming from work . Hope to see you for some classic simple poses to ease back to regular practice . Dr kristine

11.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Keep practising No indoor activity for adults in new restrictions Still strict 10 PERSON limit on outdoor yoga boot camps pilates etc and no shared equipment ... Nov 1st may see change in numbers and indoor training for adults Just stay safe Remember fitness of mind and body is a lifetime practice not just stress reliever for a few tricky months Be kind and considerate to yourselves listen to mind and the body See you in the near future

10.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Lovely flow movement session to focus on breathing flow going with asanas . Controlled breath helps mind control.... A little prctice 10 mins every day is way better than only 1 long session per week . Looking at doing a couple of seymour sessions per week s for those very committed yogis who travel from seymour to avenel . Possibly anglican hall again ,may be wednesday and Friday. Classic yoga 6.15pm anglican church hall SEYMOUR , Thurs 6pm avenel community hall is yoga flow session Friday home practice SAturday 8.30 am yoga balance posture etc avenel community hall Sunday home practice Monday yin yoga SEYMOUR anglican church hall anzac ave at 6.15pm SO that's the weekly sessions for next couple months ,covid permitting . Please come have a go ,do your own thing ,no competitions to get perfect pose . 08.01.2022 Hi to all yogis Indoor yoga will start for our group from November 5th that is after Melbourne cup break As we can have 10 per class it will mean 2 classes Class 5pm for 10 persons Class 6pm for 10 persons ... So all 20 regulars can come but split in 2 groups Same nights and place avenel community hall Saturday morning just 1 class for 10person at 8.30 am Please let us know if you want come and to which class All covid safe practices in place photo I'd post code regional only 8 square meter spacing only own mats and equipment Lots to take in but it will sort out as we begin Hope to see some of you thurs 5th November st avenel community hall

04.01.2022 Hi to all yogis , Back to yoga after recent snap lockdown . Will be on thurs 25th feb avenel community hall ,and continuing mon ,Tues thurs and Saturday as before this recent lockdown .... Come for 6pm class on week nights and8.30 am Saturday. .also new wednesday 6pm at Seymour from march 3rd . Be ready to stay flexible in your mind by some increase in your body flexibility no matter how stiff you say you are,that's reason to begin . Keep your home practice going at same time you were attending class Tonight do your breath work ,leg stretches child s pose the sun salute cycles Do 2 normal sun salute cycles ,2 with half planks and 2 with knee to elbow on each side Finish with meditation Post Saturdays class soon Bye for now om shanti
