21.01.2022 Last night was a first for Best Racing by having 2 runners in the same race, SIZZALATING and NITT WHITT. Just to make it even more fun NITT WHIT was making his race debut. Add some rain with a track downgrade to a heavy 8 and then a race delay due to a fall in an earlier race. Both boys were super professional and we couldn’t be happier with their behaviour and performance.

12.01.2022 Yesterday we were honoured to be asked to spend the day with @dangriffin__ and his family and friends to celebrate Dan’s retirement and winning 10 PREMIERSHIPS at the @gcturfclub . To be able to win 1 premiership is a fabulous effort but to win 10 at the one club will surely go down in history as being one of most remarkable achievements for a jockey Australia wide. We have known Dan since he came out of his apprenticeship and were there when he won his first premiership so it was fitting to be there for Dan’s Last Dance. 08.01.2022 We took a team of 3 up the hill tonight and are returning home with a 2nd for Sizzalating beaten 0.5L, 4th for Rock Tour and a 5th for Nitt Whitt who made his racing debut today. 07.01.2022 It's Cup Week so what a way to start it with a photo of Ethereal winning the 2001 Melbourne Cup. She won 4 group 1’s starting with the Queensland Oaks, the cups double being the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup, and the Group 1 BMW. She was trained by Sheila Laxon who was the first female to train a Melbourne Cup winner and is now based on the Sunshine Coast.
