23.01.2022 Euroa Farmers Market is BACK Did you know it is a Rotary Club Event? Thank you for all the hard work everyone in the Rotary Club of Euroa do for our community. Rotary has other organised events (pre covid) such as the Ride the Ranges. They actively raised funds for the beautiful fence at Friendlies Oval. Members also went to Cambodia to assist with construction of a new school! Plus much much more! Please jump on their Facebook page and give them a like to keep up to date with all the amazing things they do.

22.01.2022 STAN ARTRIDGE AWARDED ORDER OF AUSTRALIA Stan Artridge OAM has been posthumously recognised in this year's Australia Day Honours list for his contribution to ...the wool industry along with his community work in Ruffy and Creightons Creek. Mr Artridge was a founding member of the Euroa Shearing Association and the Golden Shears World Council and was a passionate shearing teacher who also judged at shearing competitions not only in the Goulburn Valley but internationally. Mr Artridge would also be remembered for his volunteer contributions to his local CFA brigades in Ruffy and Creightons Creek. Mr Artridge's daughters Judith and Cathy said they are extremely proud to receive the award on behalf of their father. "Our dad was a fairly humble person, but he would have been quietly proud," Cathy told the Gazette. ""While he was a lifelong teacher, he was a learner as well and open to knowledge and didn't mind learning on the farm up into his 80s," Judith said. Read more in tomorrow's Gazette. See more

17.01.2022 Update: You may remember my post where I let everyone know that my sister who I haven't seen or had contact with for over 23 years found me because of my campaigning profile. If I had never put my hat in the ring, we may have never found each other. Because she lives in the Metro Ring we were unable to meet, and finally today we met for the first time since young kids and what a magnificent experience!

Following community engagement, develop an Emissions Reduction Pledge under the Climate Change Act 2017 and in accordance with the Sustainable Strathbogie 2030 Strategy and Action Plan.
