17.01.2022 Some photos of my beautiful girl during my little time out - we had a lot of fun and a lot of cuddles! I have seen a few people starting to open back up but at this stage I am remaining closed and will reassess on June 1st when the rest of announcements are made. I will start off with doing lifestyle sessions where I can remain at a safe distance to ensure all health and safety guidelines are being adhered to. I myself have a low immune system so you may see me taking extra precautions, being slower to open and changing up session styles during this time compared to others as I need to ensure I stay healthy for this little munchkin at home who keeps me on my toes! 10.01.2022 Real talk right now, the world is a crazy scary place at the moment! Im not going to lie, Im scared, I worry for my family, and all of my loved ones as well as my own physical and mental health. Never in our lifetime have we experienced something as huge as this global pandemic we are in right now and its hectic! The world that we knew, and admittedly took for granted has been swept away from us and our new reality has drastically changed the way we live. I am struggling, ...as I know a lot of you are too, to come to grips with the fact that this is REAL. Something we watch in movies that we never thought we would ever experience. I have shut down business for the time being for the safety of my clients and myself. I am high risk, I dont want to take risks with my health or yours. Whilst I absolutely love and miss my work this is the best decision to make right now for me personally. I admit I havent picked up my camera in a while now, Ive not taken advantage of this time to do as much upskilling as I can and to take some moments and go out in nature and get some amazing photos. I dont feel the urge to leave my safe bubble at home, and I dont feel my passion at the moment as my anxiety is heightened my main focus is staying safe and staying home as much as possible. I have taken to homeschooling my daughter and that is taking up most of my time just enjoying time with her and helping her learn and trying not to go too house mad! We have still had plenty of giggles and fun moments and lots of cuddles in bed and will continue to do so! Im taking some time out from social media and posting for now to refocus myself and hopefully find the passion to pick my camera back up for a bit of a play! Whilst struggling to find focus I certainly havent given up! I will hopefully have some new type of content to post when I return. Stay safe, stay well, and stay WEIRD! 04.01.2022 This little one is the absolute light of my life This week has been a hard one, and isolation is getting to us all at home a bit sending us a bit crazy and moody! I have also been a bit distant from my photography and social media. My babys smile reminds me exactly why I love doing what I do, looking at this photo brings me right back to that exact moment and the joy and happiness we were experiencing right then. Even though we were just outside having a play with some new... flashes and lenses, she was having a blast and I can remember the exact giggles just by looking at this.
