11.01.2022 Tonight I am afforded the luxury of climbing into my very own bed in a part of Australia that is safe and removed from all of these fires.... . I feel so much gratitude for that BUT I also feel so helpless and powerless to help all of that are not blessed with my comforts . .... Yes there is so much we can do from donating, to supplying food, water and refuge. But beyond all of this there is a lot of work to be done to help these towns to rebuild... . I myself have never been one to travel overseas, choosing to travel our beautiful country and support our economy has always been important to me! With nothing else but images to compare to and perhaps I'm biased but our Beautiful Big Island is the best country/continent on this planet.... . . I guess my point here is that before you book your next overseas holiday think about how you could take that vacation right here in Oz.... How you could explore our diverse country and culture.... . . Take your kids on a roadie, get your mates together and head off on your convoy and support all our beautiful country towns x . We can't keep just blaming our politicians, yes they have a responsibility but so do we... Our economy, our recovery, our unity and our community is just as much our responsibility . I'm a country girl, it runs through my blood, And this country is my absolute passion... Let's unite now, let's make the change and support local business, makers and our hard working primary producers. . All of my prayers, respect and love go out to our heroes currently on the ground facing this crisis . . .
