13.01.2022 Kroon Legal is still open for business. We are implementing some strategies due to the Covid19 situation. We are providing hand sanitiser for clients to use on entry to our office.... We have moved chairs to ensure an adequate distance is maintained between clients and staff. Our staff are regularly cleaning the office, especially the meeting areas between appointments. We are reducing the need for clients to come to the office. Existing Clients - we are happy to communicate with you by phone, email, Skype, Zoom, etc. New Clients - we may be able to take your initial appointment by Skype or Zoom, subject to certain requirements. If you are interested in this option, please discuss it with our staff when making your appointment.

10.01.2022 With the coronavirus misinformation growing by the day, I wanted to create something shareable that sums up where we are at present. Let me touch on t...he most common theme of misinformation at present in a little more detail. Our overall diet, sleep and exercise can support our immune system. Not ‘boost’ it. When our immune system is overactive it can result in autoimmune disease. A clear sign of someone who doesn’t understand medicine is when they try and sell you something to ‘boost’ your immune system. I’m not saying that there isn’t evidence of chronic nutrient deficiencies altering our immune response negatively, but that’s not a reason to supplement out of fear, as that can actually end up being harmful to our overall health. Best case scenario, such as with Vitamin C, the excess gets excreted in the urine and you waste your money. Worst case scenario, such as with Vitamin A, the excess get stored and leads to liver damage. Stop blindly supplementing, and instead check with your local health authority as to their advice. A varied diet, with a focus on plants, is always going to be the best option. Remember, nutrition supplements don’t act like drugs. Nutrient action is generally a function of consistent intake over time. Stop allowing people to convince you that food is medicine. It’s not. To conclude, wash your hands. Avoid unnecessary travel and large gatherings. Act as if your 80yr old grandmother lives with you. Let’s protect the most vulnerable around us and minimise the inevitable healthcare burden. See more

09.01.2022 Thank you to our wonderful staff for holding the fort whilst Rod Kroon and Wendy Taylor were on holiday. Lisa and Suze both came into to work today, despite being ill, to ensure we had a receptionist. We sent them both home straight away to recover.

08.01.2022 Kroon Legal is excited to announce that as of 1 January 2021, Rod Kroon and the team will be joining HHG Legal Group. All clients will continue to get the same friendly and professional service from Rod and his team. As a proud multi-award winning, full-service WA firm, who already delivers quality legal services to the Great Southern, Peel Region, Perth and Joondalup, teaming up with HHG is an obvious choice. ... With over 55 staff across the state and extensive experience in delivering the full suite of legal services to families, businesses, individuals and local governments, our clients and the South West community will benefit from this relationship. HHG Legal Group’s Directors, Simon Creek and Murray Thornhill, have spent their careers working for both city and country clients. HHG lawyers are just as happy on St Georges Terrace as they are in Albany or Bunbury. Executive Chairman, Simon Creek said Bunbury was always the logical next move for HHG Legal Group. One of our unique points of difference is our commitment to all of WA Perth CBD, the northern and southern growth corridors and the regions and HHG was established in Albany in 1919. I am a farmer’s son from Boyup Brook and while my family holidayed in Albany each year, we shopped in Bunbury and I went to boarding school there. Bringing medium sized, full service, to the South West has been a personal project of mine for over five years and the whole HHG team is excited about it becoming a reality.
